  • Enjoying Pura Vida

"We spent a wonderful three weeks at Casa de Valencia sharing our time with family and friends who came and went during the time we were there. For the first time in our many travels, though never to Costa Rica, we did not rent a car. Given the location of the villa and all of the activities and transportation options available, we did not miss having one. Getting to and from the airport in Liberia was very easy and can be arranged through the rental office or a van or taxi can be easily arranged from the airport. The villa itself was very comfortable and the outdoor patio, dining and pool area wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors and loved the visits from birds, iguanas and monkeys. The staff at Casablanca was friendly and helpful and provided any assistance we needed. We did most of our own cooking and enjoyed the outdoor grill, fully equipped kitchen and proximity to the local grocery store and fresh fish market. Kenny provided a handy wheeled shopping cart which made life very easy! We enjoyed the beach, ocean, pool and various tours of the area. Most of all, we loved being able to hang out on our wonderful and secluded patio reading, and reveling in the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed it so much that we're hoping to spend a month next year at wonderful Casa de Valencia."

  • Excellent Vacation Rental

"My husband, 3 grown children + 1 boyfriend and I, just returned from this fabulous home in Nosara, Costa Rica. This house was so comfortable, want a wonderful home away from home. The rooms were very comfortable with air-conditioning in the 2 main rooms. The house was in a gated community and you really felt safe. With only a short distance to the beach our family enjoyed surfing at the beach and then hanging around the pool to cool off after the beach. My husband who is not a fan of heat, enjoyed the many shaded areas around the pool. There was nothing lacking in this house, the kitchen was well equipped. We had wonderful meals at The Beach Dog Cafe, Kaya Sol Restaurant, Le Crepere and La Luna(at Playa Plada). My daughter and I took in a yoga class at The Yoga Institute, which was very close by. We went Zip lining at Miss Sky - this was a blast and the guys who work there are hilarious. We visited the Nosara Wildlife Refuge and highly recommend it to all. Brenda the host there has devoted her life to rescuing and nursing back to health injured and abandoned howler monkeys and other wildlife of Nosara. Anne Marie and Derrick the property management were very welcoming and very helpful any trouble at all and they were at our door in no time. (The safe batteries came loose and all our cash was locked in with no way to get it out -- Anne Marie was there in minutes with a key and fixed the loose battery problem immediately) Michelle made the booking very easy. I would highly recommend this rental and hopefully we can return for next years and many more to come. Thanks for the great memories"

  • Quiet and peacefull

"Pro’s: The house sits on a beautiful and peaceful piece of beach. On average I’d say there were no more than 20 other people walking/playing on the 3 miles of coast. The ocean is warm, waves were perfect for a 4 year old and the undertow was light. Boogie boarding was a daily ritual. The pool was engineered perfectly, shallow part for kids, deep portion for adults and a nice sitting area in the other corner. Weather was consistent, ~95, ~75 no clouds. Thank goodness for the new AC and fridge. The house sits perfectly on the plot. The house was clean and Thomas / Janet were always there by 9am to tend to other matters. Joan, Dervin and G were accommodating and great to work with. They had the screen doors repaired and lubed as they didn’t move well. Neutral: The house has a security system and a local nightly security guard. I appreciate safety but at the same time it made some of us uneasy. The security system is loud! No shortage of little bugs and ants. They don’t bite but you’ll find them in the kitchen and we would find ants crushed in the bed with us. You’ll hear critters running on the roof in the AM - the roofline and walls are sealed very well, no worries. Con’s: The house is showing its age. It’s built very well, just needs a good craftsman to give it a once over. Our bedroom had some paint bubbling off the walls, some doors are warped and really loud, the shelving system in two of the bedrooms were pulled off the wall. We found 2 cockroaches, 1 in our bedroom and 1 in the common bathroom that we quickly killed. The dishwasher was serviced 4 times and never worked properly. The lounge chair brackets were rusted or broken on two of four. The umbrella could only be used about 5% of the time because it was flimsy – it flew out one day and needed to be repaired by Thomas. The wi-fi had difficulty connecting with our Apple devices. Weirdly enough, the one Android phone and Windows computer connected without issues the entire trip. The 4 iPads and 5 iPhones only had wi-fi for ½ the trip. Overall, it was a quiet and fun house to visit – you rent it for the great pool, good ocean view, laid back local establishments and relaxing area. When I have time I will add notes to my trip advisor page."

  • Great loft!!

"The loft is in perfect conditions, ample amenities and at a convenient location (walking distance to the beach and nearby restaurants and supermarkets). The condominium is very safe and the staff is always taking care of you. Would definitely go again and highly recommend it."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
