  • Unbelievable holidays

"This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we loved both the country and the condo. It is situated on a hill at the edge of the community and is easy walking to the beach and shops near the golf course. This is a brand new unit with a large deck off the living area and small decks for each bedroom. The sunsets were beautiful! The unit has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There is a large flat screen TV and wifi in the unit. The weather was comfortable for us, but not hot so we did not use the beautiful pool or barbeque in the common area. Magaly was there to meet us and ensured that we had everything we needed, including a little SUV. She also gave us a tour of the resort so we knew where the best restaurants and beaches were. This is a beautiful property at a great price and we hope to return!"

  • Playa Potrero paradise

"Our family of 7 (six adults and our 16 month old grandson) spent a glorious week in this beautiful ocean front home at Playa Potrero! Prior to our trip we traded e-mails with the owner who gave us a lot of valuable information. Rita of Tropical Homes of Costa Rica (property manager) greeted us at her office when we arrived from the airport and escorted us to the home. A notebook in the home had great information about grocery stores, restaurants and activities. This 4 bedroom home (3 kings and 2 twin beds with 3 1/2 baths) was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked many meals there. Towels, including beach towels, were provided which was very helpful. The patio and pool area was our favorite place to relax and especially to watch the beautiful Pacific sunsets. We had fabulous food; a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We spent a day paddle boarding at Las Catalinas beach and had a fabulous lunch there as well. The guys chartered a boat for a day of fishing, catching bait as they trolled out of the bay. Some of the group surfed at Tamarindo and we saw a surfing competition at Tamarindo as well. Tropical Homes of Costa Rica created a custom hike close to one of the volcanos, including a mud bath and a delightful swim under a waterfall. We also rode the Monkey Trail (road not as bad as we had heard) and indeed saw monkeys. Our last meal was at the Sugar Beach Hotel where we experienced the most beautiful sunset we had ever seen and the food was absolutely delicious! What a pleasant surprise to meet Angie and Mino. Angie worked very hard to keep our home clean and tidy! Mino was a wonderful gardener, pool caretaker and security guard for us. We were quite pleased with their services!!! We highly recommend this home for your next vacation to Costa Rica!"

  • Great value!!! Secluded!

"We are budget travelers, so we were looking for the biggest bang for the buck. This is a HOUSE -- not a little cabina. 2 full size bedrooms & baths. There was also an extra bed in the living room area. But it was just the 2 of us. Can you say his and her bathrooms! ;) The kitchen was stocked with the utensils and cooking equipment needed. We had the fridge stocked for the 2 weeks we were there. The property is nice and secluded. With the directions provided, we drove right to it. Miguel was just a phone call away and Douglas was always around. We felt safe at the property. The wrap around porch is nice and airy. We hung out on the hammocks everyday and enjoyed the outside shower to get the sand off. The hibiscus were in bloom and very pretty. We did have a rental car, so driving to the beach was quick. Walking to the beach, it may take a little while. We had a great time there!"

  • Beautiful accommodation

"The villa is lovely and in a beautiful setting with a view of the ocean. It has every amenity you could need including a small pool. Close to (10 mins walk) wonderful quiet beaches. We saw monkeys and iguanas from our villa and a five minute walk away could watch pelicans feeding in the ocean. The villa is three floors and we enjoyed having all that space. If you have really young children or have difficulty with stairs, however, it might be a challenge . We have kids in grades 4 and 6 so it was not a problem and it was nice for them to have their own space and floor. Yes, monkeys, dogs and roosters could be heard but with Air conditioning on at night it wasn't issue. Villa owner was very helpful with directions and suggestions for sightseeing. We'd definitely return."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
