"Beautiful, secluded cottage right on the beach. The owner is very helpful with information, suggestions and answering questions. Awesome place for folks who want to slow down and avoid crowds. Dominga brought us breakfast on a few mornings and the owner is right, she does make the best gallo pinto in town."

"Wow! Wow! Wow! What a great vacation. The Villa at Playa Ocotal was outstanding! Sunsets on the lenai were breath taking!!! The villa was well equipped for our stay and the staff was more than accommodating. It was cleaned daily during our stay including rooms cleaned, beds made, fresh towels the hot tube and pool both cleaned. The staff prepared three delicious meals per day along with snacks and cocktails. The bar was staffed daily until 8p, which made it even easier to kick back and relax, wink. When they say all inclusive they really mean all inclusive! Everything on property was included and taken care of for my party. Off property The owner and her team did everything they could to set up our stay including booking of all off property excursions and making sure we had transportation to and from. Excursions included horsebacking, zip lining, sunset yacht cruise, hot springs swim, water slides and shopping in Coco. This was hands down one of my groups best vacations and all of us recommend you consider Villa Ocotal when booking your Vacation in Costa Rica."

  • Loved it!

"We were two families of 4--4 adults and 4 teens. This house was perfect! We also rented the adjoining apartment. While we all had separate places to sleep, the center gathering spot of the house was wonderful. The pool was incredible. Quite large by Costa Rica standards--in fact, the pool at the house was as big as the pool at the hotel we stayed in at Arenal. Carrillo Bay is a short walk away, and we played in the waves with the boogie boards. We also borrowed the cooler and the hammock for the beach. The store is a short walk down the road and Hula Jungle was one of our favorite places to eat. We went several times during our stay. We also had dinner right across the street at the steak house. Delicious! We did drive into Samara one day for surf lessons, and that was fun as well. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the Samara/Carrillo Bay area in Costa Rica. Thank you Michael and Linda for sharing Casa Ventana Del Mar with us!"

"We really enjoyed our week's stay at this condo. It was as advertised, only much better! Our favorite room was the outdoor patio overlooking Flamingo beach. It was such a treat enjoying the long days, the soothing sound of the ocean, and the vibrant sunsets outside. Inside was equally comfortable and attractively furnished. We utilized the kitchen, well-stocked with silverware, flatware, and dishwasher, daily and were glad to have the washer and dryer in the adjoining room. The living/dining room area was pleasant; the bedrooms and bathrooms with exra-roomy showers were great. We would highly recommend both this condo and the rental couple to those anticipatipating a stay in Guanacaste, Costa Rica."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
