"It all began with a rainbow....what a perfect way to start a vacation. Keith the owner of unit 18 at The Palms was incredible to work with and very accomatating. His condo (18) was tastefully decorated as well as very quiet and clean. We had incredible sunsets and a great beach to walk on. Alexandria the was a blessing as well, from setting up our dinner reservations, to having a private chef come in on our last evening to prepare a wonderful meal for us. This is one place we would visit again. Thank you Keith for helping us with some incredible memories."

  • Pura Vida

"Casa Limon exceeded our high expectations. As others have said, the architecture is spectacular and the place is laid out beautifully. The kitchen makes you want to cook, and the dining room makes you want to dine in. That being said there are many great choices for eating out. The whole fish at Locanda on the beach was probably our favorite. Ma Ma Gui's makes the best thin crust pizza we've ever had. We arranged with Gerardo(the on site caretaker) via email to have his sister Lleana make a special dinner for us. Lleana made a delicious, gourmet, 4 course meal for us. We also arranged ahead of time for the 5 of us to have massages with Tod, Casa Limon's massuse. All 5 of us were impressed with his skill and knowledge and wanted more. We managed to get in 2 more hours of massage for 2 lucky family memebers. As others have said, it was really nice to have Gerardo nearby. One day the wifi wasn't working and he knew just how to reboot it, our sons wanted to rent surfboards on New Years Day and Gerardo just happened to have 2 surfboards they could rent, and he helped them tie it to the top of the jeep. I wouldn't have know that Jinny the housekeeper was there because she is so unobtusive, except that the house looked cleaner. With 5 adults it was really nice to have the option of walking to and from town even though we had a jeep. Everybody could come and go as they pleased for yoga classes on the beach, or surfing at the best time, or catching lunch at the bohemian cafe (a favorite of our crowd), etc. I musn't forget to say something about the pool. I didn't realize that the dining room/family room is totally open to the outside and thus the pool. We had an 18 month old with us and I panicked when I first realized it was all open. As it turns out the pool with it's steps entertained our grand daughter for hours every day , and it wasn't a problem at all because with an 18 month old you pretty much need to have somebody supervising their movement all the time anyway. We did feel that it would not be a place for 2 non swimming toddlers, but luckily we just had one with us. As you can tell from the pics there are some boulders that separate the pool area and it was easy to separate patio time from pool time. Rich, the owner was real helpful and easy to communicate with via email. I could go on and on, it's true Pura Vida!"

  • Amazing condo on the beach!!

"We had a wonderful vacation in Costa Rica. Beautiful, fully equipped condo, with plenty of room for six adults. Spectacular sunsets every night from the patio. We enjoyed walking the beach to Tamarindo, a great beach town, with lots of shops and restaurants. The RPM management office is just a short walk away. They were very helpful with booking day trips, and making dining reservations, as well as airport transportation. Tico To Go is a service we really enjoyed, be sure to check it out. The pool at the condo was very spacious and well maintained, we were practically the only people there most days. We would like to thank Annette and Tom for the use of their beautiful condo and with providing us with all the helpful information before we arrived."

  • Incredible place

"My husband and I stayed for a week, with a friend joining us for 3 days. The house is exactly as pictured, large beachfront with a fabulous private pool. The beach in front of the house was almost private, never more than 5 or 6 people walking past, usually the beach was empty. Small, constant surf breaking on shore, and a sandy beach for easy swimming and playing in the waves. The pool is clean, and larger than we have had with many condo rentals but all private for us! The living space is upstairs, three bedrooms/ two baths plus sleeps 3 or 4 more on beds in open areas of the house. Huge, well stocked kitchen with every appliance, lots of dishes, glasses, and gas range. Every room airconditioned with ceiling fans, controls in each room. Comfortable dining and living room area, but the gem is the huge covered porch facing the ocean. Has a hammock, wooden rocking chairs, a second dining table. You could comfortably seat 6+ people relaxing and watching the spectacular sunsets. The inside of the house is probably 20 years old and could be updated, but everything was clean and functional. And Jorge, the host/ caretaker of the property- he was fabulous. Met us at the airport and drove us "home" before getting us a rental car delivered to the house. Would definitely recommend this service, driving in costa rica was complicated, and he made it so easy! My husband needed to see a doctor, Jorge drove us to a clinic and later to the hospital in Liberia. He came to registration, translated for us, gave his phone number to the clinic to call if any problems, and called to check on us like we were family visiting. English was spoken by some in the clinics, but having a very fluent translator was ideal. Jorge was unobtrusive, offered his services and checked on us daily, but was not at all pushy. Anything we wanted, like a local restaurant, fresh seafood delivered to house, a German bakery, "Jorge has a friend" who can make it happen. He was delightful. This house would be a great place for a couple, friends traveling together, or a family reunion. We would definitely return."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
