  • Best on the Beach!

"Our group of six adults - 3 couples in our 50's/60's - drove up to Casa Del Mar, not quite sure which house was ours for the week. Then, we saw Nicho, who was standing outside, waiting to wave us in. We parked in a lovely parking area, and he guided us toward the ocean front of the house. It could not be more lovely. The large covered front patio/porch gave us shade and framed the beautiful ocean view. And walking into the house, we were surprised by the height of the ceiling and loft area. The open living space included a fully furnished kitchen where you could prepare your snacks or dinner as you looked through the huge glass front of the house, out to the beach and water. We were all so excited to move in and start the fun. Each couple in our group had a large bedroom with a private bath. In planning our trip, I had spoken with Greg and Gabriela several times. I had them set up our rental car, which worked out great. And they also set up a couple of other terrific adventure trips. We had a great experience on the Palo Verde River trip. And our Sunset Sailing Cruise was perfect. Having Greg, Gabriela and their daughter Daniela set up these things, made for easy, fun, safe adventure. The houses perfect location on Playa Grande provided for the best boogie boarding we have ever experienced. We rented 2 of them for the week, and passed them back and forth. They were used hours every day. I must comment on Miriam and Nicho. This husband and wife team were the caretakers of the property and us. They handled all of our questions promptly, either directly themselves, or via a quick phone call to Greg and Gabriella who were always reachable. The house was kept spotless - the dishes were washed daily, and our laundry was done half-way through the week. We felt spoiled. We had been to Costa Rica three times previously, and to Playa Grande just a couple of years earlier, but this was our first stay with Casa Del Mar. We all would highly recommend it, as we felt this was one of our very best vacations ever. We are already thinking down the road to our next Costa Rica trip, which will center around Playa Grande and Casa Del Mar."

  • Beautiful condo, great location

"This condo met all our needs and more. The unit was very clean, organized, and well decorated. Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus an extra half bath which is a bonus. We liked to eat breakfast home and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. The wrap-around porch was amazing with a great table and seats for plenty of lounging. The staff at Ibis could not have been more helpful. From setting up the rental to airport transportation and excursion planning, everyone was wonderful. There is always someone at the front gate which is great and he even called taxis for us when it was raining. The cleaning staff was professional and did a great job, as well as the staff at the front desk who helped us plan tours and even took us to the grocery store one afternoon! When the weather was nice, we choose to walk the quick 7 minutes into town. Ibis is such a great location. You are literally across the street from the beach and a quick walk into town. The beach club across the street (access is included with the rental) was also amazing. We took a work out class there one morning and used the beach facilities almost everyday. One afternoon it was raining so we watched one of the football games at the tiki bar there and had a great time. This condo is beautiful, has a ton of amenities, best location, and I would highly recommend it! It is definitely my first choice when staying in Tamarindo!"

  • Great Time

"I just wanted to say that we had a great time. The villa is well appointed and had plenty of room for 6 adults, tastefully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, cookware and china. Even though it was considered the rainy season, it never rained all day. The pool in the morning, beach club in the afternoon and then the beach across the street for sunset. The membership to Langosta Beach Club was awesome and their staff and food was amazing, we spent a good amount of time there. One of the recommendations in the book was breakfast at a B&B just down the street Sueno del Mar, it's a must, we liked it so much the first time we went back on our last day. And the host Susan is a wealth of knowledge on the area. The management company RPM was delight to deal with, from check-in, to even setting up a day trip to the zip-line. All in all one of the best vacations I have taken. Russ and Duncan thanks a bunch, you have a beautiful place in Playa Langosta. Pura Vida, Peter"

  • COULDSTAY4EVER

"My husband and our 2 teenage daughters spent a week at the beach bungalow. We absolutely loved it. We found the bungalow to be very comfortable and truly enjoyed the simplicity of the location. SURF, SURF, SURF! The owner of the property came by to educate us on the home and surroundings which was very helpful. We requested a grill and she dropped one by later. She even called a couple days into our stay to check up on us. We have rented several homes throughout the years and this has never happened. My only recommendation would be to add a place to have dinner as a family. We sat around the coffee table and it worked out. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful casa with us. We were soooooooo sad to have to leave."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
