  • Truly Pura Vida Experience

"Horizontes Del Mar was the perfect property and location for us. We were a party of 7 adults 32-39 years old and it was spacious enough for all of us. The condo itself is decorated beautifully and what makes this unit so special is the private sun roof deck with BBQ grill. We had the perfect sunset view and saved money by cooking and barbequing as much as possible. We would all definitely come back and stay in the same unit. The pool and beach is right there and very accessible and so is the town either by walking or taking a very short taxi ride. The staffs at Pura Vida Luxury Condo are very nice, attentive and helped us with the best experience possible. We would also recommend staying 2 weeks if possible as the week flies by. Thank you Bob and staff for a wonderful vacation!"

  • Amazingly Beautiful Costa Rican Getaway

"We visited Punta Dakota in January of 2015 with friends (there were 9 of us total). The property was beautiful and the weather was amazing! Online pictures of this property do not do it justice! The villa had all of the amenities that we could have possibly needed and the pool/bar area was breathtaking. It was so nice not to have to fight for a chair by the pool like you would have to at a hotel/resort! The staff at Punta Dakota would get a 5+ star rating if it would let me. We did hire Wilberth while we were there and he should really be charging more! He was amazing!! He did everything; he was our personal chef (the food was mouth watering), our bartender (made from scratch pina coladas to die for), and our local tour guide (we did an offsite excursion almost everyday that we were there). He knows everyone around the area of San Francisco and beyond so everyone was always very friendly. Great experience! We will definitely be repeat visitors of Punta Dakota!!"

  • Best tropical Vacation EVER!

"My husband and I had the best time visiting Carrillo and Samara, Costa Rica! We stayed for 10 days @ Popo's Treehouses. Tad (Popo) was an amazing host and staying in the Treehouse made the whole trip! We slept surrounded by the sounds of the jungle! Monkeys, tropical birds, and Cicadas serenaded us daily! Playa Carrillo rates a 10 among one of the nicest beaches I have ever been to! The water was perfect every day! There were never crowds of people (mostly local families)! The small town of Carrillo boasts numerous fabulous restaurants! I think the only misleading information we got from the guide books was the lack of fine foods in Costa Rica! Obviously who ever wrote them forgot to visit Carrillo and Samara! Looking forward to our next visit soon! Plan on returning to Popo's Treehouses for sure!!!"

  • Perfect home to stay; excellent location

"My family and I had a terrific time. The house is peeved on a hill with a beautiful view from all angles including the amazing pool. The house has all the amenities you'll need. Carlos is the caretaker in site who makes sure your needs are met..but affords you great privacy. You are within minutes from the beaches. We sorbt a day traveling to beaches. Simply hopping from one to the next. I highly recommend this home and will return."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
