  • Five stars is not enough!!

"We come to Costa Rica every year and this was the best trip yet! Casa de Vre was perfect in every way! The staff, Zulma, Randi, And David, provided us with every convenience from delicious meals prepared by Zulma ; coconut water from Randi; the security provided from dusk to dawn by David! The booking agent, Leanna, was very helpful. She was easy to get ahold of and always returned my calls. They are the sweetest, kindest people and we were in tears saying good-bye! The location is amazing! The beach is directly in front of the house. You almost feel like you're dreaming when you wake up to that spectacular view every morning! Having the beautiful infinity pool was a real bonus! I definitely would recommend staying at Casa de Vre. And I definitely will be staying there again!"

  • Exactly as advertised

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Playa Panama while staying at La Joya Bella. The pool and porch are the perfect vantage point for incredible sunsets. The property manager (Daryl) was very helpful and the communication with the property owner was great. We would definitely stay here again. I recommend the Congo Trail Zip Line and a day trip to Tamarindo. We cooked/grilled out several times and the kitchen is very well stocked. The Auto Mercado in Playa del Coco was the best grocery store. The size of the bedrooms and having a bathroom in each bedroom made the stay very comfortable. Definitely rent a car or have arrangements for transportation. Overall a very nice place."

  • GREAT place for a MEMORABLE vacation

"This is my first review in this site. I have to state a few facts before hand. I am a world traveler due to my job and spend over 150 days a year on hotels in every continent. Likewise, our family usually takes trips twice a year to different countries around the world, always staying in houses or resorts. However, this was our first time renting a house in Costa Rica, where home is for us. I have to say that my expectations were quite low, as I had not vacationed in this area, plus I had left this trip to the very last minute, with Semana Santa (Easter week) on top, making it difficult to find any place available. However, we struck gold! We contacted David (owner) and Jodi (manager), and were able to make a memorable vacation, with the help of Gary (the local house keeper), who is a GREAT person to have a chat with and pointing on what to do locally. Location - The house is located on a mid-hilltop, with views to the ocean (less than a mile away), with lush vegetation around it (great for the monkeys that come and visit). The directions are very easy to get there, and it is centrally located to everything. Rooms - The rooms are great!!! Each with individual fans and A/C and the house with a master A/C, with multiple fans. They are large rooms, with very comfortable beds, great linens, each room with its private big bathroom and big closets! What else to ask for? Amenities - The house includes a series of perks like a FAST internet connection, Magic Jack, Roku, DVD player, 2 TV (one in the main bedroom and one in the living room) with Satellite TV, outside speakers, and large couches to watch TV... Outside - Obviously, the pool is a great attraction and it was a great one, with spectacular sunset views and just great for lounging. But the outside table, umbrella and chairs, made it the perfect location for food, drinks and unwinding.. or falling asleep in the sun tanning chairs (under a great shadow from a beautiful native tree)! Cooking - I love cooking and this is by far one of the best houses we have been to in terms of all utensils. We had great pots and pans (every size, for every style), great granite countertops, glass cooktop, great knives/cookware, and overall a great selection of plates to serve your food in, that really made it kind of special in terms of a "vacation" feel. A great dining table, topped it for family gathering. Overall - This house far exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely come back."

  • This is the way to enjoy Arenal

"My fiance and I stayed in the Enchanted Cottage during our Costa Rica vacation. We had a great time and Tom & Maria couldn't have been more helpful. The location is about 50-60 minutes outside of La Fortuna depending on who you're driving behind--the roads are only 1 lane, very curvy, and people like to take their sweet time. The Enchanted Cottage is located on the grounds of the Arenal Springs Villas. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we finally saw toucans on our last day there after looking every morning. The cottage was very clean and private and has a basic kitchen so you can prepare your own meals--we got VERY tired of eating out all of the time by our 8th day in CR. If you do choose to go out to eat, we really suggest Moya's. Great food! Tom can recommend all the places to try and what to avoid. If you want to be in La Fortuna, this may not be the place for you. However, if you want to get away from all the touristy stuff and off the beaten path a bit, this is a wonderful place. Lake Arenal is gorgeous and La Fortuna is not far when you feel like being a tourist."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
