  • Wonderful house!!!

"This was our first time staying at Casa de Vre and we are hooked! The house is very comfortable: large air conditioned rooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, wifi, nice grill by the pool, large terrace, ... The swimming pool is beautiful and very refreshing after a day at the beach. This property is beachfront and the view is amazing: just walking off the master bedroom you can see the waves. Breathtaking! The house is very well kept! If you plan to spend some time here, book in advance!!!"

  • Excellent location and great property

"We stayed at Casa Verano from Dec 21 - 28 with our two young kids and the grand parents; there were six of us in total. The location was perfect; less than a 10 minute walk from the beach. Far enough away from all of the nightime noise (only noise coming from the American neighbours who played Christmas music all day). The house has all of the amenities needed; the pool was great to have when the sun was just too much at mid-day. Samara is an amazing city; people are so nice, and so laid back. A couple of things that I recommend are the Samara Trails tour (Alvaro is the best guide I've ever experienced); Samara Organics; Luv Burger (great vegan food, and best beer!); Oso Loco for movie nights, coffee and curry."

  • Playa Potrero paradise

"Our family of 7 (six adults and our 16 month old grandson) spent a glorious week in this beautiful ocean front home at Playa Potrero! Prior to our trip we traded e-mails with the owner who gave us a lot of valuable information. Rita of Tropical Homes of Costa Rica (property manager) greeted us at her office when we arrived from the airport and escorted us to the home. A notebook in the home had great information about grocery stores, restaurants and activities. This 4 bedroom home (3 kings and 2 twin beds with 3 1/2 baths) was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked many meals there. Towels, including beach towels, were provided which was very helpful. The patio and pool area was our favorite place to relax and especially to watch the beautiful Pacific sunsets. We had fabulous food; a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We spent a day paddle boarding at Las Catalinas beach and had a fabulous lunch there as well. The guys chartered a boat for a day of fishing, catching bait as they trolled out of the bay. Some of the group surfed at Tamarindo and we saw a surfing competition at Tamarindo as well. Tropical Homes of Costa Rica created a custom hike close to one of the volcanos, including a mud bath and a delightful swim under a waterfall. We also rode the Monkey Trail (road not as bad as we had heard) and indeed saw monkeys. Our last meal was at the Sugar Beach Hotel where we experienced the most beautiful sunset we had ever seen and the food was absolutely delicious! What a pleasant surprise to meet Angie and Mino. Angie worked very hard to keep our home clean and tidy! Mino was a wonderful gardener, pool caretaker and security guard for us. We were quite pleased with their services!!! We highly recommend this home for your next vacation to Costa Rica!"

  • Great and Beautiful Location!

"My husband and I stayed at the Casa Rojo 6 out if 10 days of our honeymoon. It is the perfect size for a couple. It's located in the jungle, very private and safe. Andreas was very friendly and extremely helpful! He speaks fluent English, which was good for us, who speak no Spanish.. Solomon, the care taker, was very nice. We love that its rural and not very touristy. It's is located within a few miles from 4-5 different beaches, which are absolutely beautiful! Right outside the gate we saw a troop of howler monkeys which included a mother and baby. Charlie's in Matapalo has a good menu and drinks. In Brasalito, there's a great restaurant (can't remember the name) to the left before you enter the beach. Kevin who works there also owns a tour company. We loved the ATV tour. You are about a 10-15 min drive from a little surfing community called Playa Granda/Pirate Beach. It was one of our favorite places. You have to go to Kiki's Place, they have a great food an awesome venue."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
