"My wife and I visited from Sept 20-27, 2014 and had a great time! We continuously enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch, pool and from inside the house. Carl's directions made getting there very easy and the local map provided made travel in Nosara simple and fun. We took walks to the river, saw monkeys (some with little babies), many birds, and animals. The store was easy to get to for supplies and the people were very friendly. The house was perfect and whether you want to take long hikes or sit by the pool this is the place! We felt very safe and secure and the privacy of being on a dead end road was great. We would highly recommend this beautiful oasis to anyone visiting Costa Rica as this house is simply perfect!"

  • Amazing Trip. Did not want to leave.

"We spent 3 glorious weeks at Casa Luna de Miel. From the minute we arrived, we felt at home here. The house was so comfortable and was the best choice we could have made. We felt very safe and secure. Jarod and Meeghan were so wonderful and helpful beyod expectations. Arranged a car for us, trips, anything we needed they were there for us. The pool was always sparkling, and we spend many days swimming or walking along the tide pools in front of the house. After traveling around to many of the more build up towns, we realized that Playa Negra was the perfect spot. We felt part of the community there. Thank you Jarod and Meeghan for helping to make this trip so fantastic. We would recommend this house and Rancho Play Negra in a heartbeat. Linda & Mike"

  • Great get away

"We found this to be just what we were looking for. We found the accommodations great- well stocked kitchen so we could dine here when wanted. We walked to the fish store and grilled our fish - or enjoy some of the fun restaurants close by. Or a short walk to the bakery for fresh bread or sweet treats or smoothies was also a nice option for some. Having the local fresh fruit was also a highlight. We love having the pool - a place to relax-cool off-and read our books. The beaches with the sunsets-- of course spectacular. The club at Mar Vista which is close and beautiful view- and also offering Gluten Free options. Love it- and hope to be back to enjoy it again. Thanks for providing us a nice option- affordably and with a very pleasant place to stay!"

  • Outstanding Condo!

"Spent an excellent four days at Dave's condo with the family in late November, 2013. It is a clean, spacious, well-appointed two bedroom condo on the fourth floor of the 7-stories Matapalo condo within the Tamarindo Diria Resort complex. The 100+ sq.ft. balcony looks down to the family pool and over the treetops of the compound and out towards the ocean. It has a patio table and chair set which I spent hours just enjoying the cool breeze and chilling. My mother also loved sitting there and chat about the latest family stuff. The master bedroom is spacious and looks out to the ocean. The ensuite bathroom is huge. The secondary bedroom is at the back and good for sleeping. The bed is a little "bare" but still comfortable so no complaints there whatsoever. We made good use of the kitchen for simple breakfasts. The coffee machine (my lifesaver in morning) works well, and the blender was put to good use for making ice-cold pina colada's! The necessities of modern life - TV's, internet connection (outstanding speeds) and telephone all worked well. The location of the condo was central in Tamarindo. Being a small town, it's walking distance to almost every place one would want to go - good restaurants, small supermarket, and all the in-town surf shops. Dave the owner was excellent in communicating with me on request for more info, signing the lease agreement and so on. If I ever make a return trip to Tamarindo, this would be my absolute first choice."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
