  • Enjoying Pura Vida

"We spent a wonderful three weeks at Casa de Valencia sharing our time with family and friends who came and went during the time we were there. For the first time in our many travels, though never to Costa Rica, we did not rent a car. Given the location of the villa and all of the activities and transportation options available, we did not miss having one. Getting to and from the airport in Liberia was very easy and can be arranged through the rental office or a van or taxi can be easily arranged from the airport. The villa itself was very comfortable and the outdoor patio, dining and pool area wonderful. We spent most of our time outdoors and loved the visits from birds, iguanas and monkeys. The staff at Casablanca was friendly and helpful and provided any assistance we needed. We did most of our own cooking and enjoyed the outdoor grill, fully equipped kitchen and proximity to the local grocery store and fresh fish market. Kenny provided a handy wheeled shopping cart which made life very easy! We enjoyed the beach, ocean, pool and various tours of the area. Most of all, we loved being able to hang out on our wonderful and secluded patio reading, and reveling in the Pura Vida life. We enjoyed it so much that we're hoping to spend a month next year at wonderful Casa de Valencia."

  • Great spot , a surfer's dream!

"I had the pleasure of staying at Ben's cute little casa this April. I must say, it was perfectly ideal for my travel plans! My goal was to surf as much as possible, easy to do at Ben's little rental casa, as multiple breaks are within a 15 min walk. Ben was also great at showing me his home surf break, we surfed 3 hours one evening. I loved the after surf cold shower, and the bathroom interior is really cool with a natural stone finish. AC , Fast internet wifi and satellite tv (with HBO and other movie channels) ensured a great place to rest up for the next beach day. Very safe house with an ultimate security perimeter of cacti, agave and other plants creating a cool and unique "bio fence". Ben, the owner, has two awesome dogs, super nice and also serve to protect the property. Ben the owner is very nice and down to earth, always asked if I needed anything and how my stay was going. There is two great bars walking distance , and a small store with limited supplies down the road. I will be back!! Affordable and avellanas is my most favorite beach. Thanks again Ben"

  • Gorgeous views from the large deck!

"Our stay was peaceful, relaxing, comfortable and there is everything you need in this condo. Comfortable beds and bathrooms were very spacious. If you are looking for a place away from the crazy tourist towns and tons of people this is where you should go! The restaurant was good and staff extremely friendly. The pool was extremely clean, deep enough for jumping in and having a great time. The deck in the condo is very large comfortable enough for at least six people. The view of the forest, hills and ocean are great! There are three beaches very close to the condo, one walking distance and the others 2 to 3 miles away. Our favorite was Playa Minus great beach and surf."

  • One word: Incredible

"When we found this property, I confess that we thought it was too good to be true. The price, location and view just seemed an impossible mix for Nosara. Imagine waking up at dawn to check the surf from the porch, cooking up a feast at the grill overlooking the ocean, sipping sparkling wine in the pool under the stars, observing the diverse range of flora and fauna from the nearby wildlife refugee, wondering the beach at night as huge sea turtles crawl up the sand and plant their eggs, and each and every day sleeping to the peaceful sound of the ocean. If you can imagine that, then you can imagine the incredibly unique space that Carl & Kathy have created in Costa Rica. Furthermore, I challenge you to find more affable and welcoming hosts. My wife and I have travelled a lot (40 countries each) and Carl (whose wife was away) was the most genuinely accommodating host we've ever met - he went out of his way regularly to make sure we were content each and every day. One note: if you're in the Nosara region, it's worth renting a car, preferably a 4WD, as the roads are unsealed and can at times get quite bumpy. Alternatively you can rent quad bikes once in the area. If you're reading this review, then I suggest you book. And book now."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
