  • Stunning

"We spent a week at villa Casa de la Cascada as we were a group of 12 people and one baby. The house was beyond our expectations! The view is stunning and the house is comfortable and well maintained. We booked three activities and had a cook prepare meals for us twice a day. The activities were: 1. Deep Sea Fishing 2. Hiking in Ricon de la Vieja 3. Snorkeling The management communicated with us well before our arrival and made sure to respond to all our requests. They booked transportation to and from the airport which allowed is to feel safe on our arrival. Special thanks to all the staff including the maid and gardener!"

  • Heaven

"Had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful condo for 10 days. Nicely decorated, fully equiped kitchen and very large. Looked directly out to the ocean, no need for blinds as you have full privacy. Lying in bed in the morning you can watch the fishing boats head out. Spent a lot of time on the patio, nice to have your own BBQ. Even had visits from the monkeys in the trees right outside the patio. Staff very pleasant. Owners supplied us with a lot of great information on things to do and places to eat and tips on travelling in Costa Rica. Many thanks, you made our visit a pleasure."

  • Perfect getaway house near prime beaches

"This was our third trip to Costa Rica and our first in Playa Negra. Casa Ventana del Mar was by far the nicest place we've ever stayed, and now we're wondering how soon we can come back to it! My husband is a lifelong surfer, and the break in front of the hotel did not disappoint. The house welcomes you home with a nice outdoor shower (two more in the house), a lovely pool, great for watching the sunset while staying cool, and lovely views from the upper patio. There are intriguing tidepools just beyond the house, and 180-degree ocean views with nothing between you and the ocean! The photos almost don't do the house justice. Within the house, the open concept of the modern kitchen and living room made for lounging comfort while preparing dinner. There is a guestbook full of great information on everything from restaurants to shopping. The bedroom AC made sleeping easy even on the hottest of nights and beds were comfy (plenty of pillows, too - important for us!). The house was well provisioned! Little amenities such as the cooler and plenty of ice made it easy for us to take picnics on our beach explorations. A lot of thought went into providing Casa guests well appointed and there's nothing I'd add. I also loved that the stove was gas - ideal for serious cooks. The blender got a workout - fruit stands in Tamarindo provided the stuff of delicious tropical drinks enjoyed on the patio! Lastly, the privacy factor was great. In the rancho, this house is on the far north out of the fray of passerby on their way to the beach. It was always private and we appreciate the added security of the house when we were away. Thank you for thinking of everything, and to Mary/Brenda of Beach Grass Rentals for their added hospitality arriving/departing."

  • GREAT PLACE MUST STAY

"Was there in October 2014. Everything was wonderful from the accommodations to the sunset and views. Truly all you need to bring is cloths personal items, and on your way in from the airport pick up what you want for meals. Everything is there to cook with and sit back and enjoy the sunsets with your dinner on the patio. Lots to do during the day close to here and the beaches are just sooo relaxing. Don't forget to use the pool it put relaxation to a new level."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
