  • Great Time

"These pictures accurately reflect the property. The pool is nice, the house is very nice. There were 8 of us, 2 families and it was comfortable. It's within walking distance to Tamarindo. We did have an issue with the stove but Management fixed it right away. We had a great time and I would book this house again if we ever get back to Costa Rica. Pura Vida."

  • Private Oasis

"My husband and I are retired and we rented this casa for almost three months this winter. It was perfect for us and had enough room for when my daughter and two children came to visit. The beds are very comfortable. The air conditioners in every room work well. The pool is the best feature of all. It is large and deep and kept so clean by the house manager, Mario. We had fun learning Spanish from him and he likewise was trying to learn English. He helped us in so many ways. We had a flat tire when we were there and he changed it and told us a good place to go and have it repaired. He showed us where to go to get a Sim Card for our tablet in Santa Cruz so that we could access the internet both at the house and in the car. He refilled the gas tanks when our fuel ran out for our stove. He really was so very helpful and as a result we felt very well cared for and safe. His Dad is the gardener and he came every morning early and did a wonderful job of tending their lovely grounds and he gave us bananas, papayas and limes grown fresh right on the property! Because we had such a long term rental there were things that we missed having at the house that others staying for just a week or two probably would not care. I missed having a microwave for example. Some of the pots and pans were not in too good of shape and there were no muffin tins, cake pans, casserole dishes that sort of thing that one needs for a longer stay. For everyday cooking all the necessary items were there for our use. We were happy to have beach chairs available to take with us to the beach but we had to buy a cooler and a thermos to take cold drinks with us. The property itself is very beautiful and the pool area is surrounded with lush tropical plants and flowers. My only complaint would be the road getting there was long and a dirt road and you really do need a four wheel drive to drive on that every day as well as getting up the hill to reach the house. Keep in mind you are in Costa Rica though so this is to be expected. We found all the people in the village and everywhere we went to be very friendly especially when we tried to speak our broken Spanish to them! All in all it was a wonderful holiday and I would love to go back again in the future!"

  • Beautiful Luxury Home with Amazing Views & Pool

"Our family of four had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Luna de Miel. The views are absolutely incredible and the very clean and refreshing pool is located on the side of the house and provides shade and privacy. We did have an a/c issue at the beginning, but it was taken care of very quickly. Although Jarrod is the property manager, Mariah helped us out quite a bit with suggestions about where to eat and things to do. She acted as a surf guide for me since I hadn't been to the area and my surf skills were very rusty. She helped by explaining a bit of the local culture and etiquette, set me up with a trip to Ollies and Witches Rock, and threw out a few very good surf tips. In addition, she arranged surf lessons for our daughter with Monica who was extremely patient, and really broke down surfing into easy to understand steps in such a positive way. Our daughter now loves surfing and after 3 days of lessons was riding wave faces. Both Monica and Mariah are super honest, reliable and great role models. Also, don't miss the fabulous massage given by Francis! After surfing for 3 days, my shoulders and neck were very out of sorts. Francis straightened everything out and I was able to surf 2 more days. Overall, a wonderful trip! We will be returning!"

  • Absolutely Beautiful Villa!!!! We had the time of our lives thanks to Tom & Maria!!!!

"My husband and I, along with another couple stayed in at the Casa Grande villa and we simply had a fabulous, incredible time! The home itself is even more beautiful than the pictures, (if that is possible!) and was incredibly clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view was breathtaking!! The grounds of the villas property are meticulously maintained with attention to every small detail. Perhaps the most important and impressive part about Arenal Villas is the fact that Tom and Maria helped us so much with planning our daily itinerary. There were numerous emails to Tom/Maria ahead of the trip which were all promptly answered. They recommended a driver (Emily and Balo who were incredible!), excursions, restaurants and tours. We were not disappointed with any of their recommendations. Our drivers, Balo and his wife Emily (whom Tom and Maria recommended) were so patient and wonderful with us and made sure we went to all of the right places and knew how to get us there! They even took us to a special souvenir shop to be sure we weren't over-paying for our souvenirs!! We truly felt like royalty staying at the Villa and having such wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable and patients hosts!!! None of us spoke Spanish and it was never a problem! Thank you Tom and Maria and staff for the trip of a lifetime!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
