  • Excellent property and views!

"My wife, two teenage sons and I just had an excellent experience staying in this condo at Flamingo Beach. When we arrived we were immediately swept away by the breathtaking views of the water and mountains visible from the large balcony and sliding glass that extends the width of this top floor unit. The condo itself is relatively new, in excellent condition, and very comfortable. While we ate out a lot, we really appreciated having a condo with a kitchen for some breakfasts, lunches and numerous snacks consumed by our voracious sons! The owner, Doug, was very helpful in providing lots of suggestions about restaurants and activities in the area as well as making the reservation process easy. While we were there, we also enjoyed having complimentary access to the Flamingo Beach resort for pool, swim up bar, larger gym, kids activity room, boarding pass printing, concierge, daily beach towel service and easy beach access. The Flamingo beach itself has fine light sand, great waves, and plenty of shade. We also took advantage of nearby access to fishing, zip lines, surfing, and somewhat farther away, whitewater rafting. One additional point is that the property up a short, steep hill across from Flamingo Beach (a 5 min walk from beach), probably the equivalent to walking up 3 flights of stairs (although it could be driven, you'd want to be sure you could park at the Flamingo Beach resort if you have problems walking up hills.) We'd definitely stay here again if we travel to the area and would highly recommend it to others!"

  • Great Place, Great Manager

"This was a beautiful house. The four bedrooms are all like suites, only 2 units have to share a bathroom. One unite stands alone like a carriage suite. The house is on a road outside Tamarindo. It was a very peaceful stay. The manager, Julius couldn't have been nicer. Great communications via email and in person. He was always just a phone call away."

  • Relaxing New Year in well equipped home

"We had a wonderful stay in this property. The owners and their property manager were very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. The house is well looked after, clean and really well equipped compared to many we have stayed in, particularly the kitchen, which had everything we needed, including pantry items such as herbs, spices cooking oil etc, which was really useful for our short stay. The garden is fabulous and huge and the patio is a great spot for bird watching. Although not on the doorstep of La Fortuna (and therefore many of the area's attractions) we found it perfectly viable for day trips and the drives around the area are spectacular anyway! We would not hesitate to recommend this property."

  • Beautiful condo, great location

"This condo met all our needs and more. The unit was very clean, organized, and well decorated. Each bedroom has its own bathroom plus an extra half bath which is a bonus. We liked to eat breakfast home and the kitchen had all the essentials for cooking. The wrap-around porch was amazing with a great table and seats for plenty of lounging. The staff at Ibis could not have been more helpful. From setting up the rental to airport transportation and excursion planning, everyone was wonderful. There is always someone at the front gate which is great and he even called taxis for us when it was raining. The cleaning staff was professional and did a great job, as well as the staff at the front desk who helped us plan tours and even took us to the grocery store one afternoon! When the weather was nice, we choose to walk the quick 7 minutes into town. Ibis is such a great location. You are literally across the street from the beach and a quick walk into town. The beach club across the street (access is included with the rental) was also amazing. We took a work out class there one morning and used the beach facilities almost everyday. One afternoon it was raining so we watched one of the football games at the tiki bar there and had a great time. This condo is beautiful, has a ton of amenities, best location, and I would highly recommend it! It is definitely my first choice when staying in Tamarindo!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
