  • Perfect Little Spot for a Couple !!

"We have traveled to Costa Rica extensively and have just bought a home in the Nosara area. On our last trip we were lucky enough to pick this gem of a location. The place is cozy and comfortable and the closeness to the beach is perfect. The pink sand and snorkel ready tidal pools are in the backyard and a group of wild horses strolled by every morning while grazing. A little walk or a short golf cart ride puts you in the middle of everything, but you are far enough away to really enjoy tranquility. Evidently, Susan Sarandon owns a lot next to the property. It is not hard to see why. Kudos to Rich and his wonderful wife for a great stay :)"

  • Excellent location to the beach and restaurants.

"We spent a week in this beautiful home in March, 2014. We are a family of 4 and the place was more than enough for us, spacious rooms and closets, great open kitchen and great family room. The L-shape couch in the family room is very comfortable! In the morning we had our breakfast outside and enjoyed the beautiful view of Ocotal, then we would walk to the beach, just 2 minutes away. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the pool next to the restaurant, (there are plenty of pools around the complex). there is also a children's pool. The restaurant is just perfect, they cooked specially for us since we had some dietary demands for the baby (4 month old) and my 5 year old. My husband went fishing one of the days and caught enough fish for dinner, which they happily cooked in the restaurant for us. Downtown is about 8 minutes away by car and we went to the supermarket a few times during the week to buy food, there is also a private clinic and ambulance services and pharmacy. The hospital is about 40 minutes nearby, which was important to know since we traveled with a newborn. There are other beaches nearby, Ocotal, Playa del Coco, Conchal, Playa Hermosa, Sugar Beach, etc.. within 20 minutes or less from each other. This home is located on top of the hill with gives a better view of the ocean and it made us feel better than being in front of the ocean. We would definitely return next winter (we live in the northeast USA) if the property is still available. Dealing with Anthony, the owner, was easy and efficient. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants a great vacation in beautiful Costa Rica and beaches."

  • Paradise Found

"This was truly a week in paradise, I only wish we had booked a longer stay! The house was perfect for our 2 families of 4, everyone had their own space but the house also offers plenty of room for us all to eat together, or lounge on the patio or yard. Beach access is right out the back door, to a long, wide uncrowded beach. Sunsets up on top of the "Rock" were fun for the kids (15-23).Plenty of patio furniture and beach lounges to enjoy the outdoors. We saw one turtle on the beach one night, though it wasn't nesting season! The orange and purple crabs are everywhere - it became a nightly ritual of shooing the crabs out of the courtyard (Not an easy task without hurting them)so they wouldn't scurry into our rooms when the doors were opened! All part of the jungle life, it didn't bother us at all. Water pressure in the house is really low at times, but there is a drought right now so it was no problem for us to deal with. House water is safe to drink, we had no problems. We had Kimberly cook 3 dinners for us - she is not only a great cook (Her Arroz con Pollo is amazing!) but she is very helpful in answering questions about the house and the area in general. Taco stand just down the block is great, Bula Bula has a really nice dinner in a beautiful setting, but the stand out meal was at Café del Pueblo, the small restaurant on the left as you're heading out of Playa Grande. Not to miss! We booked an Adventure Tour through Frijoles Locos (Corynne is so nice and very helpful!) at Rincon de la Vieja. $85/pp if you drive yourself, which is a very easy 1 3/4 drive away. It included awesome ziplining through gorgeous river gorge, horseback riding (I would skip this part - unimpressive) and whitewater river tubing - the highlight of or whole trip! Also amazing hot springs and mud bath, and a great buffet lunch. Awesome day, I would HIGHLY recommend! Overall, the house exceeded our expectations. Just remember that you are in a beach house in the jungle so there are critters and sand everywhere. Relax and enjoy! PURA VIDA"

  • Descanso asegurado :)

"Increíble vista hacia el mar, muy privada y segura. Esta cerca de varias playas San Juanillo, Pleito, Guones y Ostional donde se puede ver el desove de las tortugas. Perfecto para familias y amigos que deseen descansar y disfrutar de la zona."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
