  • Great location!

"Great location, right in the middle of town. Condo was comfortable for 2 couples. We found some great restaurants in the area by using trip advisor, there is also a list in the condo. We did try a place called "soda" there is more to the name, authentic CR food, and inexpensive, very good! If someone meets you at the condo be sure to arrange house keeping to come at your leisure. No one met us. Master bathroom is large but needs work, getting into the shower is a LARGE step and it leaks down the side, water all over the floor. Kitchen was equipped for what we needed. Pool is quite, not a lot of loungers. They don't like you to bring refreshments in plastic containers from your condo. Try the combo tour, zip lining, horse back riding, water rafting (2), mud bath, hot springs. Can't wait to go back to CR, but will try another property."

  • Palms #6 is Great!!

"We spent a week at Playa Flamingo and stayed in #6 condo at the Palms. The condo was awesome in every respect: Clean, comfortable, well stocked, luxurious. The views were great and the location can't be beat (right on the beach). Owner was responsive and very helpful. He suggested a charter boat for offshore fishing, which turned out to be three amazing days on the water. We caught sailfish, roosterfish, tuna, mahi and to top it all off we caught a 250# and 1000# blue marlin. That's not a misprint, the "grander" was a record fish for the boat after 28 years chartering in Costa Rica. I will definitely be back and would not hesitate to stay here again. I also had my wife and two kids, age 8 and 14. They too loved the place."

  • First Trip to Costa Rica

"Our first trip to Costa Rica will be a memorable one. Our stay at Villa Mar Azul was peaceful, pictureque and private. It was great to have our own pool to cool off in. We heard the howler monkeys in the morning and enjoyed watching the beautiful birds everywhere. The caretaker, Carlos was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We would recommend it to nature lovers."

  • Perfect family vacation house

"We just returned from a week at Casa Colinas and wish we were still there! We are a family of five with kids ages 3, 7 and 9. My wife's parents came along as well. This house was two master suites, two kitchens, two beautiful patios and amazing views of Playa Hermosa and the Papagayo Peninsula from all around the house. The neighborhood is secure, quiet and filled with beautiful homes through winding, hilly streets. There is an abundance of wildlife right outside the property. While we were there we saw green and black iguanas, howler monkeys, parakeets, thrushes, vultures, cormorants and many other birds. There is a handy sheet to help identify the fauna. Playa Hermosa is a great beach. It's long and there is about 50 meters of sand from the water to the trees so it never feels crowded. The waves vary from very gentle to moderate body surfing. We booked several tours (snorkeling and Palo Verde boating) with Louis on the beach. He's from New Orleans, but is Costa Rican by heritage and took good care of us. He's just setting up his business and didn't have a business card yet, but you'll see him down by the beach chatting with everyone. Dennis and Eric were very attentive with the property management company and took care of everything we needed very quickly. You hear about "tico time" but Eric and Dennis were punctual and thorough and communicated proactively with us. We hired Johana to cook for us two times and really enjoyed the chicken, gallo pinto and fresh pescado (dorado) she prepared for us for a very reasonable price. We'll be back to Costa Rica for sure and will look to stay at Casa Colinas again soon!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
