"I stayed at this house for two weeks in Feb. 2014. It is just absolutely beautiful. U have continuous hot water in the shower, AC in bedrooms, (I didnt need it), potable water dispenser, (cold water), and streaming wifi. The beds are firm but nice and comfy. The kitchen has all the basics you need. There is an electronic security system and the place locks up like Fort Knox. Anyway, I didnt come for the house, I came for the location. The location is well, TO DIE FOR. OMG!!! It is heaven on earth, thats all I can say. You must explore your immediate surrounding beaches and the jungles. There is so much beauty and wildlife it is unreal. Bring your cameras and binnoculars. Within walking distance from the house is Arrecife Restaurant, which is a great little soda. Its like having a hotel restaurant bar, lol. IT IS WONDERFUL THERE!!!!! I have nothing bad to say about this house. Green Management was more than accommadating, setting up appointments and giving suggestions, etc. It was just a great time and I felt at home."Guest: melody p. "A very comfortable place to stay and explore the local area. Great service from the manager Mike, who had a wealth of knowledge about local services and amenities, as well as the geography of the area. Thoroughly recommended!"Guest: owainjones Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: October 2, 2014View listing
"This place is simply magical. If you love unspoiled nature, the outdoors, wildlife, exotic birds, sounds of the jungle and vibrant colors, then this is your place! If you prefer the fake manicured lawns of Florida, then please stay there and don't spoil it for the rest of us who enjoy a little getaway from man-made stuff. We stayed at this property for 3 nights in November and it was terrific (even if November is not the best time to visit given how much it rains). The property is really nicely laid out and well maintained by Cruz, the friendly caretaker who will also bring you coconut water and show you birds and wildlife. Both him and Juanita, the house maid, were extremely friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The house is spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped; there is ample space for parking if you choose to drive; and there is a convenience store with all essentials just around the corner. But my all-time favorite was the gazebo - made entirely from recycled materials, it is not only inviting for an afternoon beer, but is also the perfect place to curl up with a book or just hang out after a day at the beach. The pictures on the web site simply don't do it justice. There is a BBQ area, too, although we didn't use it. The beach itself is a short 2-minute walk from the house and feels completely secluded. You can see sloths, monkeys, tucans and a whole host of other exotic animals directly on the property, which for us was the biggest draw. Puerto Viejo is just a short drive from the property, too, if you want to go out for dinner or a drink. What you should keep in mind: The beach may be tricky with little kids (no guards). There is wireless internet throughout the house, but as in most places in CR, it is annoyingly slow. The jacuzzi did not have hot water, though frankly this was not an issue in the tropical heat. Wet clothes/towels barely dry and the mosquitoes are everywhere (bring your favorite bug repellent and plan on using it all the time) but this is the same throughout the tropical paradise that Costa Rica is. All in all, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for an authentic, rustic, non-commercial Caribbean experience with much local charm. Pura Vida!"Guest: GlobeTrotter Date of Stay: November 2013 Review Submitted: December 12, 2013View listing
