  • Great Villa, Beach locations, and wonderful staff

"We got pick us up to the hotel traveling 4 ladies for a getaway wkn, we felt secure; the driver is a great guy, polite, with patience he stop a few times along the way as we ask him.. :) location was fantastic if you are looking to be close to the beach. They have a great view from the pool to the beach. Plenty of lounge chairs by the pool, towels that you can use at the pool or take with you to the beach, but you rather stay and pamper yourself at the villa.... the place is spectacular and well maintenance. I stayed at Villa 1 is breathtaking view, infinite pool and Jacuzzi so relaxing... The villas are modern and quite comfortable. Pillowtop beds, plenty of pillows, flatscreen tv, free wifi, and modern bathroom with a nice soft bathrobe waiting for you, is just inviting.... so romantic!! This was a girls trip so we had plan to go to the city and explore as well as horse riding, and zip lining, The manager for the property took care of everything; what an amazing guy always polite and ready to help us. One of my girlfriend was scare (you know being outside USA) but he make sure we had transportation all the time, we felt care and protect. Can't say enough about the staff! They went above and beyond! Can't put into words how the manager efforts and personal attention made us feel! Constantly greeted us with a smile and eagerness to assist with anything we needed! the staff simple gestures and consistent customer service across the board! I would love to come back!!!! Thank you so much for a great vacation!!!! Greissy Amorocho"

  • Awesome!!! Didn't want to leave!

"We spent a week at Casa Mar Y Luna in late August and had a fantastic time. The house is perfectly located on a hill with spectacular views of the breaking waves along the coastline below. The house had lots of space for the 7 people in our group, with the outside deck being our favorite spot to hang out. Watching the sunset while sipping a cold drink as you cool off in the vanishing edge pool was the best way to end the day. Being surrounded by trees brought all of the wildlife right up to the house, with howler monkeys, sloths, toucans and vultures making daily visits. The house location was close to beaches, waterfalls, restaurants, sightseeing, and anything else you'd want to do in Costa Rica. The hostess, Tiffany, made the whole place even more spectacular. Her joyful personality and fantastic knowledge of all things Costa Rica were a real benefit to the property. And she knows her way around a kitchen, too. She cooked us a few delicious local meals as part of our reservation. We would definitely recommend this as an awesome rental property."

  • Magical and Serene Vacation!

"Wow. Wow. Wow. What an amazing place!!! If you are looking for a serenity spot in Southern Costa Rica...this is paradise. Our family of 3 (mid 40-something's and our 10 year old daughter) had an amazing time @ Villa Baha. From the moment we approached the gate until the moment we left we felt so safe, comfortable and spoiled... we almost felt like owners... (or maybe that is wishful thinking). The house was perfect for a small family. We cooked in nightly and found the kitchen to be well equipped. We ate in the dining room... doors open, candles lit. We never used the upstairs tv room as we spent most of our time outside. Although our daughter was on her ipad often. The grounds are just beautiful. Each day brought newness to our adventure - new birds, animals, flowers, fruit. Such a variety of plants, flowers, trees... My day would start early at sunrise and I would open the house... Coffee in hand, you just sit outside and watch the world wake up. Perfect. Evenings were the same - sunsets spectacular. We stayed in the pool most days. Found the yellow chairs a perfect spot for evening cocktails and conversation. We left the property a few times (as the drive up and down the mountain was rougher than normal due to dry weather) and we needed to be committed to it.. We went zip lining @ Hacienda Baru and to the Osa Mountain Animal Sanctuary. We at @ the Beach in Dominical... but honestly - if you have groceries, you don't want or need to leave. Amy was a terrific hostess from afar. From the initial booking of the Villa, she provided us with tons of information regarding our trip and I asked A LOT of questions. She graciously assisted and went above and beyond. As someone who has rented 10+ homes a year for 5+ years on VRBO, I would rate this as our best experience to date. Pura Vida."
