  • Loved this place!

"The view, the serenity, the pool, the jungle... this place is really a piece of paradise in the middle of Uvita's moutains."

  • Just what we were looking for!

"This Villa was just what we were looking for and on arrival the first thing we noticed was pictures of this Villa don’t do it justice. The property is just awesome with mouth opening views of the Ocean and jungle. We saw plenty of birds and wildlife on the property and heard the monkeys but didn’t manage to see them. The Villa is close to Dominical where there are grocery stores, bars and plenty of good restaurants. The local Ticos are very friendly and helpful people and make you feel right at home We did some excursions and the favorite was the horse ride to the waterfall which was great adventure and great value. Awesome villa and vacation we will be back next year."

  • Killer Views

"Our group, 3 couples in our 50’s & 60’s, stayed in this villa in September. Lynne, the owner, was so easy to work with and always responded promptly to our emails and answered all our endless questions. We booked online and paid through VRBO, and all was handled effortlessly and efficiently. We arrived over an hour late (mudslide on the road between San Jose and San Isidro) and way after dark but Jose was still patiently waiting for us exactly where we were told he would be. We did call to let him know we were running late because of the slide ad he was very understanding and told us to take our time. The drive up to the house is very steep but the road is good (it had rained like crazy before we got there but no problems) - you will still want to have a 4WD vehicle. There was one place that was kind of washed out and it appeared that a tree had just been cleared from the road but that was the only issue. The villa is beautiful, very private and secluded, but the best part was the outdoor space, pool, and the view. If we were at the house, we were outside! It has has 3 large bedrooms, 2 downstairs, with the master upstairs, and each has its own bath. Kitchen, living, and dining room are all downstairs and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had eggs, bread, coffee, juice, and milk in the refrigerator. Very nice touch since we arrived so late! Some of the windows just had screens (no glass) so you could fall asleep to the sounds of the jungle (or rain, since we were there during “green” season) at night or the birds waking you up in the morning and I loved that. We saw toucans, aracari’s, and even a sloth, but, sadly, no monkeys. We went on a couple of tours while we were there – Bahia Adventures Whale/Dolphin watching tour and El Santuario Canopy Adventure for zip lining. Loved both of them and wouldn’t hesitate to refer them to anyone. Guys at both places were amazing and we all had a great time. As much fun as we had getting out and seeing the sites, it was still really nice to come home to our beautiful villa. Amazing views, comfortable, and an owner that was accessible and very easy to work with. I highly recommend"

  • Week stay on amazing property

"Our stay at Casa de Suenos was a great experience. We drove from the the airport and stayed near Jaco for a week. We then drove south for about an hour and easily found Dominical and met up with the property manager who took us to the house. We were very happy to see that the house had such an incredible view and was also very private. We spent a lot of time on the large porch enjoying the sunsets and lighting shows. We came during the rainy season so some nights had some Tstorms but overall it was pretty dry all day. The house was only a few minutes drive to town and any number of beach access points. We felt like we had our own private piece of paradise as there wasn't anyone else around to make noise. Some of the places to stay in town were very close to other hotels/hostels/homes and seemed more noisy. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to explore some of Costa Rica's best sites."
