  • Excellent stay for 5 at casa tangaroa in July

"My wife and I stayed at Casa Tangaroa in July with some friends. We really enjoyed everything about the house but some highlights of our trip: - struggling to get the car up the hill (and having to back up a few times) before I figured out how to turn on 4x4 - watching Costa Rica take the Netherlands to the brink in the world cup at a Domincal bar - Seeing at least 5 beaches that were completely different all south of Casa Tangaroa - Swimming in the pool and playing with the houses 'aqua-zookas' - BBQing salchichon or chicken or whatever almost every night - having the tide come in on us and getting a good set of rain at Marina Ballena - the tarzan rope at Pozo Azul - Getting the house full of giant insects when we left the window open a creek and the light on the first night ( be careful!) It's a really good time and I'd recommend it to anyone. I will not hesitate to call Neil again fi I need a place in the south pacific."

  • Best part of our trip

"My wife and I spent a week here during our honeymoon in April 2014 - it was absolutely perfect and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The house has some of the best views in all of Costa Rica, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, lots of space - feels like a home away from home. There are several beaches a short drive away. The property manager was very friendly and helpful - she went above & beyond to make us feel at home. I would recommend this property to anyone."

  • Blissful

""This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We were celebrating our 26th wedding anniversary and had been dreaming of staying at just such a place as the Casa de los Suenos. The property is amazing. We never tired of the view, the plants and wildlife. The home is very nicely decorated and was very clean. There was a lovely basket of fruit and other food and drinks to welcome us to the home. It was greatly appreciated. The property manager, Massi, quickly resolved any issues that came up. We went on a few tours that Silvia Morales arranged for us. The highlight of the trip was the Mangrove tour. We witnessed an amazing array of wildlife and had a very bright guide named Cesar. The groundskeeper, Gerardo is a gem. He is truly an asset. We don't speak much Spanish but found ourselves having long conversations. We went to a few restaurants. The top 2 favorites were the "Charter" which has a jet plane in the parking lot. The other favorite was The Balliena next to the BM market in Uvita. We would recommend this property to folks who are looking for seclusion and beauty. The road to the house requires 4wd but after a few trips up the hill is becomes easy. We look forward to staying here again.""

  • Casa de Selva

"Property was beautiful and in perfect condition and the pictures give you an idea of how wonderful it is but only the individuals operating the property exceed this wonderful property. Rachel and Adam had everything ready and anything necessary was given to us or told "how to" in excellent detail. They had all the best restaurants and activities lined up for us and even an on site chef! Tremendous people to work with and a open jungle experience all are yours at this property. Rachel is amazing from your arrival transportation with Sterling to your departure she has you and your trip totally taken care of."
