"My wife and I spent a week here during our honeymoon in April 2014 - it was absolutely perfect and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The house has some of the best views in all of Costa Rica, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, lots of space - feels like a home away from home. There are several beaches a short drive away. The property manager was very friendly and helpful - she went above & beyond to make us feel at home. I would recommend this property to anyone."Guest: Jeff Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing
"We had a wonderful time visiting the beautiful country of Costa Rica. Casa de los Suenos was such a nice retreat to enjoy the wildlife and just relax. The home was very well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. Silvia was very helpful in helping us book a fishing trip, canyon ziplining at night, white water rafting on the Savegre River and a snorkeling trip to Cano Island. The sunsets were amazing relaxing in the pool after our adventure of the day. Tracy was most helpful in the booking of our reservation and the followup with suggestions of places to eat, shop and area beaches. Tracy, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. The welcome basket was such an added touch to make us feel so very welcome! We can't wait to return and bring others to share our experience."Guest: Ann Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: August 12, 2014View listing
"This house is beautiful, very comfortable, very tastefully furnished and equipped with everything you will need. The location is to die for. The house is situated very high up on a hill overlooking the water. You do need a 4X4 to get there. The pool area is gorgeous. Our first day there we saw monkeys, tucans, and a sloth in the trees surrounding the house. Visit Osa Mountain during your stay if you can. There is ziplining, a restaurant, a wildlife rescue, and a butterfly sanctuary featuring various species of butterflies from the area. The road up Osa Mountain is very scenic as well."Guest: David & Penny A. Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: April 29, 2014View listing
"We spent a week here as two couples. It exceeded our expectations. We felt like we were tucked right into the jungle, with an amazing view of the Dominicalito beach and gorgeous sunsets every night. Being a wildlife photograph buff, I was kept very busy! We arrived in the late afternoon, and it seemed everywhere I looked I found new, beautiful birds to photograph, including the toucan and vulture sentry that watched over us most days. The sound of the cicadas was deafening at times, but did not keep us awake. The beach below was well worth a visit, something we unfortunately did not discover until our last day. We did not have a vehicle for the first few days, and that was a mistake, because it is a long, hot hike up the steep road if you go down for a walk. We were grateful for the pool. A four wheel drive is definitely recommended. Dave and Deb were such gracious hosts, always ready to help, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with them at their "secret beach". It was fun seeing Deb teach my 70 year old brother in law how to boogie board! One word of caution, the steps downstairs are beautiful, but if you are like me, and don't step towards the front of each step, the rocky edge scrapes your heals. Since that's the only complaint, you can't go wrong here. We even enjoyed sharing with our friends the night a small boa came for a visit outside. If we have one regret, having traveled south from here and then returning north again to Tamarindo, is that we did not cut our trip south a little and return here for a few more days. Thanks Dave and Deb for making our stay so memorable."Guest: Gerry M. Date of Stay: March 2014 Review Submitted: April 8, 2014View listing
