  • The property is wonderful!

"What can I say that hasn't already been said? You won't be disappointed! I honestly don't think you can find a better property in a better location close to Jaco for the money. If I had to try to come up with something negative to say about this place though I guess I would say that Tom didn't offer to let me stay for FREE... Obviously I'm joking, but there really isn't anything negative to say. The air conditioning WORKED the ENTIRE time I was there (if you vacation in Costa Rica much then you get my drift). The HOT water worked the entire time I was there. Oh, I almost forgot, the dryer was broke on our arrival (but I wouldn't have used it anyway, so it was a none issue for me) so there you go, if I absolutely had to find something negative then that would have to be it... They have a local laundry where I took my clothes & had them cleaned & bagged for like $6.00 because I was on vacation & I absolutely refuse to do laundry on vacation... but if you feel compelled to do your own laundry then the house does have a washer & dryer & I would bet almost anything that the dryer has already been fixed."

  • Comfortable, clean,

"We spent an amazing week here on our first trip to costa rica. Loved the location overlooking the pool and beach. Lots of meals, coffee and happy hours on the veranda. The beds were very comfortable. Used the taxis to get into downtown Jaco (2 dollars). Also an easy walk if not too hot. Walking the beach was a favorite morning activity. Tres Regalos was one of the best condos that we were able to compare with other units along beach. Much quieter than most and everyone at the pool was very friendly and informative. All the staff was very helpful and friendly. They made us feel very well cared for. The entire complex was immaculate. Sosan was very helpful and easy to communicate with. She checked in on us to make sure we were happy and settled in. Loved seeing the Maccaws visit. Would definitely love to stay here again."

  • Nature Lovers Dream

"If there is "heaven on earth" this is the place! The property surrounding this home is what made this such a memorable vacation for us. I can tell you that the pictures of the interior of the home itself are completely accurate. We had my sister-in-law with us for a portion of our trip, and the layout of the two poolside bedrooms on opposite sides of the home, each with their own bathrooms were great for our individual privacy. There are ceiling fans in every room, and I can honestly say that having just the fans (no A/C) was enough to keep us comfortable. Don't let the lack of A/C keep you from considering this home. Now for the backyard...Danielle has done a masterful job in creating a true "Garden of Eden" experience. My sister-in-law and I would lay in the pool and marvel at the variety of flowering plants, and it seemed like every day we'd discover something we hadn't noticed before! The current pictures of the outside of the property could use updating as it's so much more lush than what is pictured. The is a fantastic flowering white bougainvillea over the covered patio leading to the pool, there is a bright yellow hibiscus-type flowering vine that is running up and along the the pool-side barbeque area. I could go on, and on. The lush garden (I keep using the word "lush", but it's so true) invites countless varieties of birds - imagine waking each morning to them singing to each other! We even saw a lizard eating the red hibiscus at the far back of the property, and there was an iguana that liked to hang by the pool and sun himself. We did not experience any mosquitoes like one of the reviews commented on. As a matter of fact, we slept with only the mosquito netting over the bedroom door at night, and left the kitchen and living room doors open all day, neither of which have screens. We never so much as saw one bug in the house. A note on Jaco itself - the three of us found that the walk to the beach took us about 25 mins one-way. There is a little tienda about a block from the entrance to the subdivision (barrio), and a great fruit market about 2 blocks beyond that. Further down the road is a bakery that has fantastic bread that we bought fresh daily. The Caribbean restaurant at the entrance to the barrio is a winner as well! Rebecca is a very personable and welcoming manager, and was always available when we had questions for her. From the first day to the last, we enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back next year!"

  • Great views of the beach and sunsets!

"We loved this place. It's at the quieter end of the beach but walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Plus I think the beach is better at this end, nice and sandy whereas closer towards Jaco it gets a bit rougher, more gravel. The apartment was very nice, big balcony. It has everything you need for a great vacation."
