  • Great time at Jaco

"My family had great two weeks at Greg's condo. It's bright, big and cozy. There are several pools at the property and the ocean just few steps away. The long Jaco beach is a beautiful place to go for a walk. The part near the condo was very flat and save for our kids who loved jumping on the waves. The managing company Daystar is doing an awesome job to keep you comfortable out there. We were really pleased with their response to our needs. There were one negotive experience with our tour to Tortuga Island they sent us to that was operated by Bay Island Cruises. After the tour we complained to Daystar and Lupi one of the representatives personally came to the condo next morning to apology for the third party service and presented us a bottle of wine. There is Canopy Lines at Jacob that everyone should try. We had a fabulous experience with those guys who run it that made us laughing every minutes we spent with them. Rent a car and go to Poas volcano and Manuel Antonio park that another two things we really enjoyed in Costa Rica. Don't miss the crocodile river near Carara Park. Park near the bridge and walk to tge middle of it to see big and small crocodiles in the river. No hesitation that I recommend this place to our friends."

  • Gringos Locos

"This Costa Rican bungalow is nothing short of paradise. My friends and I were depressed that we had to leave. It was hands down the most amazing vacation of my life. The beach is steps away from the bungalow and is great for surfing and swimming(experienced swimmers only). Beautiful sunsets are right at your disposal every night as well. There is so much to do if you take the short ride into Jaco. I would recommend this bungalow to young travelers, families, and retiring folks."

  • Jaco Beach Village Condo 1 BR

"My hubby and I stayed in JBVC for 2 weeks Oct 18-Nov 1, 2014 and thororughly enjoyed our visit. Perfect for a couple since it was a one bedroom (which are difficult to find normally) on the ground floor. Plenty of storage in the condo along with a washer and dryer which worked perfectly. Grounds were very well kept and beautiful. It's a small complex which was nice. Hot tub was just steps from our sliding patio door along with the beautiful pool. Trees in the complex were always visited in the morning, sometimes afternoon by Scarlet Macaws which was always exciting. You can always hear them coming as they are really loud. Security guards were always visable. A great location......just minutes from town and no problem walking back after dark. Bicycle rentals are just up the street from JBVC. We have traveled to Mexico for the last 20 yrs and this being our first trip to CR, I was much impressed with the people of CR. You will be within walking distance of several beach bars to watch the beautiful sunsets each night. Make a stop at The Point Beach Bar (go left on the beach)....good food, good drinks. Ask for directions to Miro's Mountain when a hike sounds good. It's very interesting and FREE. It will be worth your effort. Dave, owner of the condo, was very easy to work with, promptly answered emails, and was happy to answer questions by phone. We did line up our RT transportation with Dave's Airport Rides who had increased his one way to $90 because of increase in gas prices. Once again, no problem with transportation. FYI for you newbies: when exiting after collecting your luggage at airport, stop at the duty free liquor shop to stock your condo. Very convenient! There were a couple of problems with our stay but nothing important enough to write about. Would I go back to CR? Would I stay at JBVC? You bet!"

  • two life time freinds, Mike and Bob

"1st Costa Rica Trip for Bob and I and it met all of our expectations the owner Eileen was such a big help with prep that we actually went on are own without the extra costs of tour guide add on costs. The reviews were accurate and the accomadations were excellent. We had such a great time that we changed our travel plans and stayed in the rain forest (rental car) and drove through the country. The Sky Trek zip line at Arenal Volcano is a must, we also entered the public access and enjoyed the hot springs at no cost. The food was out of this world everywhere in the country, but agree with Eillen on her Green Room in Jaco, get the special, salid with Tuna steak on top. Very special to all of the Day Star Employee's especially Eric at the Gate, Anthony our boat captain and first class crew, we made an under water movie of a sailfish that Bob caught one of many fish, and Eileen for all the information that really was the key to our whole experience. we also got special tickets for a return trip that is in the future. Big Thanks Mike"
