  • Our Favorite Family Vacation Spot

"When we were researching other possible vacation spots for the family, nothing we saw came close to the comfort and views of this apartment where we stayed 2 years ago. So, we decided to stay in Jaco again and in the same fantastic apartment. The apartment is huge, beautiful, clean, had a few upgrades since our last stay, and has a great location. Phil & Evelyn were very kind and helpful as they were in our previous visit. This year we visited Manual Antonio, did the Monkey Mangrove tour, went surfing, enjoyed the fantastic sunset and sunrises, walked the Pura Vida Gardens, dined at fabulous restaurants, shopped, toured a coffee plantation, and spent countless hours just relaxing at the beach, pool, and apartment. We love this place. You won't be disappointed."

  • Lovely Condo with Beautiful View

"We stayed a week mid-February. If you want a condo on Jaco, this is a very good choice. The condo was very clean and the beds comfortable. We could go to bed early and never were disturbed by noise. The view from the main area beautiful and the location on the beach very nice as it is not crowed at all. Diamente Del Sol is on the beach in downtown Jaco, so there is no real need for a car for shopping and going out to eat. We rented a car in San Jose as we knew we wanted to drive to Quepos and Playa Herredura for fishing etc. If we had it to do over we would have taken the shuttle from the airport and rented a car in Jaco as needed. Jaco is not very large, consisting of a main street and a block or 2 up or down from the main street. The Diamente Del Sol is about midway on the beach, a bit to the north. The south part of the beach is the best swimming, but is also the older part of town (with an area for sale, building torn down but graffiti wall fence) and more locals and surfers come to the beach and park their cars on the beach as the rip tide is less so swimming a surfing is better (All beaches are public in Costa Rica.) We thought it nicer to be north. The pool and first floor is constructed so it is several feet above the beach level. This is very nice as when there is a car on the beach, one‘s view from the pool is mostly over the car and looking at the remainder of the beach, the palms and the ocean. Diamente Del Sol is made up of 2 towers. The 2 bedroom units are all the center unit with a 3 bedroom unit on either side. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo on the 3rd floor. The view was lovely with the beach, palms and ocean. I agree with other reviewers if you have a 3 bedroom unit, you want to be at least on the 4th or 5th floor so you can see thru the thick palms, vegetation or buildings on the sides. The 3 bedroom units also have side views. The view from the back is not as appealing as the beach. One downside is the 2 bedroom units have both bedrooms at the back which face into the open hallway. One can see thru the open air hallway to the back of the condo, but if either neighbor walked out of their condo they could see into the bedroom…so one keeps the drapes closed. Note, not a big deal but nice to know, the condo comes with bare minimum supplies.. one hotel size soap in the 3 bathrooms,1 hotel size shampoo in 2 bathrooms, one dishwasher soap pellet, 2 kitchen trash bags, one sponge and surprisingly an ample supply of hand dishwashing"

  • Affordable, Clean, Beach Front Ground Floor Condo in Excellent Location!

"My husband and I rented here for five days. This condo is beautiful, well-built, and situated beachfront in Jaco. The condominium complex is very well-kept and clean with gated entry. The association has 24-hour guard service and you will always see guards walking the grounds. The condo is well appointed with kitchen utensils and cookware and a full size side-by-side washer and dryer. There are A/C's in the living/dining kitchen areas and the bedroom as well so the condo is always cool. The pool and jacuzzi are just steps away. It was great to not have to use stairs or elevator either! While we were here, the entire complex was very quiet and we had no trouble sleeping. Also, both the property manager and the owner were extremely helpful and accommodating with excellent tips for eating, dining and playing in Jaco. Great condo and great price, highly recommended!!"

  • The perfect Jaco Stay

"I must say, i was initially apprehensive of booking this wonderful place. The owners Don and Denise were/are super helpful that, as a New Yorker i was hesitant (I mean we are just are not used to people who are both nice and extremely helpful). After my booking Both Don and Denise constantly reached out to suggest activities, places to visit and anything helpful that they thought we ought to know, they really do go above and beyond to ensure your comfort. Upon arriving, i instantly fell at home, the place is well furnished and stocked (i mean FULLY stocked) with linens and towels, to run out of them would mean you change linen twice a day or something. The 3 bedroom condo is very spacious, THAT you do not see from the pictures. We had a group of 7 with some over night crashers (had some friends who were at the best western down the street), one of the nights we all ended up crashing and we did not feel one bit cluttered. Security, maintenance workers and cleaners were all friendly and helpful (The whole city of Jaco is like that) but, these staffers went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and comfortable(they also know what bars to go on any given night which was a plus). We had a BBQ on our last night there, and the security on duty did an amazing job setting up the place for us (cleaning the grill before and after) setting up the propane gas, trash can etc. All in all, i would recommend this place again and plan to visit Jaco (I fell in love, the sunsets are beyond words) and will most definitely be staying at this place. I will say that the Crocs casino which is next door had their grand opening the night we got there and though there is some noise from the music, the levels weren't any bother at all. The Casino General Manager lives in this complex also and he does a good job not disturbing his neighbors tranquility. THANK YOU!!!!!! Don and Denise from my group, truly appreciate it."
