"We live locally in San Jose and wanted a weekend escape during the off-season to Malpais. We had a perfect stay in this gorgeous house! What a view indeed -- it's like 180-degree view of the ocean. It is a steep climb but that's the price for a beautiful view. We had a 4x4 SUV and it was not a problem. The inside is crisp and modern and I wish my kitchen was this size at home! But the main attraction is the outdoor terrace and infinity pool, where we spent the bulk of our time...lounging, relaxing and soaking up nature: butterflies and greenry. The rooms are really big, and our friends who joined us and stayed in one of the bungalows loved how cozy it was. And they said there is an ocean view everywhere...from the bed, even from the bathroom! We will totally recommend this property to friends who are looking for a piece of paradise, and we'll be back!"Guest: Marcia M. Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 11, 2014View listing
"This was our second stay in 2 years at Sendros de Paz. My boyfriend and I love this property and the Playa Manzanillo area. We visited last year and stayed in the Villa next to Villa Pochote. Both Villas are really awesome they have all the amenities of home only your in a beautiful jungle paradise. Since our visit last year the owner Trey has added on a beautiful Yoga Shala with a view of the ocean. The property it's self is really beautiful filled with all the regional plants and trees which are home to a number of Iguana's, Birds and Monkeys. Another new addition was a beautiful swim up bar which was great to relax by in the evenings. Trey is a great host and is always there to help with all the exciting activities the area has to offer. He booked our zip line tour, provided personal paddle board lessons in the estuary and in the surf, as well as teaching us hand line fishing costa rican style. I highly recommend this property for those who love adventure and to be away from the more crowded areas of the Southern Nicoya Peninsula such as Mal Pais and Santa Teresa. Yet it's not are too far if you want to go there for some night life, shopping or activities. We also highly recommend the restaurant Dayka which is a couple of miles north of the property, great food, drinks and pool after a long day of ATV riding. Can't wait to go back next year."Guest: Tyrina H. Date of Stay: November 2014 Review Submitted: December 2, 2014View listing
"This was my third trip to Costa Rica, and by far the best. This house is truly amazing. It is positioned in a secluded private location with gorgeous views. few minutes down from Santa Teresa and all the amenities. Yan is very accommodating and coordinated all our activities and recommended fabulous beach front restaurants. Melba kept a very clean house and is a sweetheart. They also have all night security at the house so you feel extremely safe. If you are looking for a relaxing, remote and beautiful location I would highly recommend the March House."Guest: Mark Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: June 25, 2014View listing
"After our visit to Casa Luna Luz, all we could think about was how to replicate the outdoor living space at home. All we are missing is the ocean and beautiful rainforest scenery. We spent most of our time at the house enjoying the covered outdoor living area, dining table, and sundeck/pool. When we did venture inside to cook or sleep, it was comfortable and clean, and nice to have all the dishes and utensils provided. We rented a Daihatsu Bego 4x4 from Budget, and it was sufficient for climbing the road to the house, and navigating the bumps along the roads to Tambor and Montezuma. Traveling in September or October will result in many of the restaurants being closed, but there were enough open to have variety on a short 5 day trip. Malpais is a great place to unwind and enjoy Costa Rica. The people are friendly and helpful, but not pushy. We would recommend renting this home, or any Casas De Soleil property."Guest: BW Date of Stay: October 2014 Review Submitted: October 29, 2014View listing
