  • Gorgeous views, spacious and wonderful service!

"Casa Luz is situated overlooking your own personal jungle! Every room has a view better than the next! We spotted a sloth, toucans and a monkey in the trees and enjoyed a symphony of birds every morning on the deck. Our boys, 13 and 16, loved the pool and all of the adventure activities Natalia arranged for us (Catamaran, Mangroves, Ziplining to name a few). We had a wonderful meal prepared for us the first night (for the same price as a meal in town) and ate leftovers much of the week. There is a little store just outside your driveway gates for the basics and many tours provide a typical Costa Rican meal. We enjoyed El Avion and Victoria's for dinner, but there are many choices we weren't able to visit this time. We would strongly suggest renting a car with a GPS (programmed for Costa Rica). We drove and navigated our way to many places quite easily, despite some roads being quite bumpy. While many people did walk to restaurants, etc. from this home--it was at least 1/2-3/4 mile to the main road with no shoulder. Locals seemed very accustomed to this, but we were happy to have a car. Take the time to visit places off the beaten path-- our visit to RainMaker was one of our favorite days. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our home and Manuel Antonio. It isn't fancy or brand new, but there is definite pride in ownership and we had everything we needed for our stay. The people, especially Natalia, were gracious and accommodating and truly lived up to the motto--Pura Vida!!!"

  • wonderful place

"We just returned from an amazing stay at the Shana Residence. The accommodations were beyond perfect for our family with young children. The condo was clean and beautifully decorated. It had an outstanding view of the pool and the ocean. We could even see and hear monkeys off of our veranda in the trees. Our condo was very close to many fun activities like hiking in the rainforest, swimming in the ocean, and exploring the rainforest using hanging bridges. We also enjoyed the many fantastic restaurants near the condo. Johnathon and Nicole were extremely helpful in assisting us make plans for our stay. They were both quick to respond to emails and phone calls. I highly recommend you stay at this condo if you plan to visit the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. Don't forget to try the delicious drinks in the lounge just steps from the condo."

  • Great time at the Family Jungle House

"We spent 8 days in the Family Jungle House with 5 people, including 3 children aged 9, 11 and 14. We had a fantastic time and plenty of space to enjoy the house and its surroundings. We had abundant wild life in the morning to look at (especially various types of monkeys) with beautiful views of the jungle. The kids particularly enjoyed the large pool with the slide. We felt both very safe and very much part of the nature. We did a few activities in the morning, and we are recommending the Canopy tour ziplining activity."

  • Fantastic Bungalow in Manuel Antonio!

"My husband and I booked at 3 night stay at Casa Kaylen, for our Manuel Antonio portion of our Costa Rica trip. Luckily, we were able to add an extra night on to our trip, and arrived a day early! Best decision ever! We loved the bungalow, it suited our needs perfectly. The house is very charming, inside and out...the photos are true to life. The grounds are gorgeous and the bungalow has a great open design, and is nicely decorated, perfect touches as far as furnishings and artwork.... with everything you'd need for a nice vacation in paradise. We really enjoyed the charm of the bungalow, as well as the beautiful tropical grounds (such amazing plants! like from a dr seuss book!) and the view of the ocean. The house was very secure, as others have mentioned...you will not be worried about your valuables and electronics if you lock up accordingly! There are two beaches about a 20-30 minute walk from the house...very hilly, as is everything in MA, but doable for able-bodied people. Only a short walk to restaurants, cafes, a bank and a mini-grocery store....the house is perfectly located. Monkeys occasionally visit in the trees, which is very fun! Some car/truck traffic noise from the nearby road...it was noted in a previous review, but it was just louder than I was expecting! Overall, we had a great stay and a fantastic vacation! The only thing it lacks would be a hammock (or a hot tub) on the deck overlooking the forest and ocean! Just a super place, great memories, felt like we had our own little slice of paradise. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend this place for couples or a very small family of 3, 4 would be tight. I highly recommend taking advantage of the kitchen facilities in the house, and maybe stock up on breakfast/lunch supplies, as the restaurants/cafes in MA are VERY expensive!"
