"Imagine paradise, now imagine your home in Paradise; Casa Bella Vista! The Villa is nestled in the jungle high above the rest of Manuel Antonio, but within walking distance to restaurants, stores and an ATM. A bit of a trek to the beach but doable or a quick taxi ride with a great payoff, awesome beaches and fun restaurants with ceviche and plenty of beer or the local drink cacique.
When we got to CBV we were greeted by the wonderful smile and warm welcome of our gracious and generous host/concierge Sani Teni. We had arranged all our tours and activities in advance with Sani. All our activities were 1st class and made our stay effortless and exceptional.
CBV includes, Sani, our guard Coco who alerted us to all visiting and resident animals. 3 resident sloths, mamma, baby and male,
toucans, other birds, troops of Spider, White Face and Howler monkeys, lizards and frogs to name the coolest animals that came by.
We had maid service daily, laundry service and a chef by request. We had an amazing dinner elegantly prepared and served on our beautiful patio overlooking the infinity pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The picture cannot do justice to the serene and exquisite view.
Our group of 8 recommend the Villa and the immense expertise of Sani."

"We were so blessed to stay in such a paradise. Katharine and her family are so lovely and have created a wonderful place to explore from. We didn't feel we needed a car at all and loved riding the bus into Manuel Antonio. We even hiked into Quepos one evening. There's terrific restaurants within walking distance and the property was so safe and fun. We can't recommend Katherine and her great tour arranging enough. We don't speak much Spanish and she helped us immensely. We felt so well taken care of."

"We loved Casa Del Mar. Beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen....so much attention to detail throughout the entire Villa. Fresh cut flowers and wonderful staff. You can tell that the owners want their guests to feel like they are in a place where they could stay forever. The rest of the property is amazing as well."

"This condo worked beautifully for our 4 night stay. We were two adult couples traveling so having the two separate bedroom/bathroom combinations worked excellently. Loved the view, spotted howler monkeys in the trees one evening. We were in the rainy season and witnessed an awesome 8 hour lightning and thunderstorm, great views at night from the balcony.
Best to have a car to get around. With 4WD you can drive down to one of the close beaches. Really liked that this property was off the main road so felt more secluded.
Recommend Emilios restaurant just down the road.
Now, here is my caution if you are staying at this location over a weekend. The hotel hosted a 'dance party' on Saturday from 3:00 - 11:00 pm. They set up a DJ near the pool who played blaring music with an electronica beat for yes, 8 hours. The speakers faced all the residence towers and not the hotel. It was too loud inside and with the doors/windows closed. We and others staying in the condo complained but the management was not responsive. Even though there was NO one at the party for the first five hours! It seemed to get started only after 8:00 pm. It looked like this was geared to locals as we did not receive an invitation (they had slipped a flyer under the door for a live music and food discount on Friday night, which had no impact on us). In fact, our rafting guides the next day mentioned they knew about the party from Facebook. It even impeded our ability to drive in/out as they had roped off the entrance and we had to continually prove we belonged on the premises.
This is no reflection on the owners or management company as their hands were tied, nothing Linda, Michael, or Alex could do about the situation. Just an unfortunate experience that detracted wildly from our relaxing vacation. We'd expected Saturday to be our relax at home/pool day. Other than that, I would give it five stars."
