  • Dream vacation destination perfection!

"We booked the villa for a birthday destination and had all the information needed to prepare for the trip. Nancy and Steve are great at answering any questions not already listed on their FAQ pages. Sabrina, the concierge with CRneeds, was superb! She arranged our pick up from the airport and was in constant communication via email after the reservation was made. She met us at Villa ls Vista and gave us the tour of the two bedroom spacious home. She was very thorough and answered any questions we had. She was not rushed and was very pleasant as she explained about the villa, life in Costa Rica, as she showed us around the villa situated above the ocean with spectacular views from both the downstairs and upstairs balcony. The villa itself is Pura Vida! If you don't know what that means, come to Costa Rica and experience it. Tile floors throughout, rich native wood furniture, spacious bathrooms and any amenity you would need for your stay is provided. The pool gives you cool relaxation among the tropical flowers and towering ficus. Villa la Vista is very secure and private. We felt safe with the extra security measures the owners have installed. They have also made sure you feel like Villa la Vista is your home in paradise. Most everything from artwork to needful things can be found locally in the shops. I fell in love with the wooden coaster set and easily found one of my own for very little cost. Feel free to buy local made and more than likely you will see them making it for you on the spot! The walk to the beach is fine walking down but walking back up is moderate to difficult. Take your time, take rest stops at your own pace and wear shoes suitable for steep gravel/muddy terrain. There is plenty of shade, sand, sun, and surf once you get to the beach. House and grounds keepers are wonderful and keep the villa in pristine shape for you. Ask Sabrina and you might just get a home cooked Tico meal if you would like. She can recommend anything of your liking and arrange any tour you or your family might enjoy. There is WiFi provided at Villa la Vista, games, books, and TV/cable to occupy if you are indoors during a storm (we stayed during the start of rainy season and it rained/stormed every day but the sun did share the sky for most of the day) but don't let those amenities keep you from the Costa Rican experience. Book your Pura Vida vacation today!"

  • Excellent Location - Beautiful View - Wildlife All Around

"We stayed 5 nights in the downstairs apartment at Steve and Nancy's oasis while on our honeymoon in February 2014. The villa was easy to find with Nancy's detailed directions and we knew exactly what to expect from the info provided. The beach was a short 10 minute walk down a steep hill to the most FABULOUS sunsets and quiet beach. There was also a great view from the balcony of our unit. We spent quite a bit of time up in the upstairs unit (Nancy and Steve happened to be staying there!) and that unit looked clean and fully appointed for everything one could need (just as our downstairs apartment was!). The views from both upstairs and downstairs were amazing - and it was awesome watching the squirrel monkeys dart around the trees as we relaxed on the balcony (this happened every day!). We can't wait to return - hopefully in the near future! Thank you again Nancy for all of your lovely conversations and thoughtful recommendations. We really enjoyed our time staying in VILLA LA VISTA!!"

  • Breathtaking! Loved the little details!

"Very beautiful views! Every which way you look your in paradise. The ocean view, the rain forest view, animal life all around! A tropical paradise. Mary and Lee, (owners), put so much in to the little details that make your stay here so comfortable. The lighting, the hammocks, the tree house sun deck, hot tub overlooking the jungle! I'm serious when I say you are on top of the world here! There are so many ways to relax, from a refreshing splash, a hammock nap, sun deck tanning, or hot tub jet snooze at night. Mary was the perfect host as well. She can lead you finding any activities or restaurants that you may want to do. Or she will leave you alone if that's what you want. She is the sweetest woman and is very knowledgeable about the area. My wife and I vacation quite a bit and our stay at Casa Aguilita was certainly our top experience together. Be you young and looking for adventure, or just looking for quiet tranquility, this place is a perfect fit. Thank you Mary for a perfect vacation!!!"

  • A Beautiful and relaxing vacation beyond our dreams

"We spent part of our honeymoon at this house with Ken and Kim, and absolutely loved the location, the views, the amenities. Truly was above and beyond our expectations. We played with squirrel monkeys, saw a sloth and other monkeys, and cooked fish that we caught ourselves through a chartered trip with Ken's friend. Highly recommend"
