  • Imagine Paradise

"Imagine paradise, now imagine your home in Paradise; Casa Bella Vista! The Villa is nestled in the jungle high above the rest of Manuel Antonio, but within walking distance to restaurants, stores and an ATM. A bit of a trek to the beach but doable or a quick taxi ride with a great payoff, awesome beaches and fun restaurants with ceviche and plenty of beer or the local drink cacique. When we got to CBV we were greeted by the wonderful smile and warm welcome of our gracious and generous host/concierge Sani Teni. We had arranged all our tours and activities in advance with Sani. All our activities were 1st class and made our stay effortless and exceptional. CBV includes, Sani, our guard Coco who alerted us to all visiting and resident animals. 3 resident sloths, mamma, baby and male, toucans, other birds, troops of Spider, White Face and Howler monkeys, lizards and frogs to name the coolest animals that came by. We had maid service daily, laundry service and a chef by request. We had an amazing dinner elegantly prepared and served on our beautiful patio overlooking the infinity pool that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The picture cannot do justice to the serene and exquisite view. Our group of 8 recommend the Villa and the immense expertise of Sani."

  • Perfect location!!

"The reviews are all right on so I'll just add that we had a terrific time and wish we could have stayed longer. This property is in a perfect location with a fabulous beach and a view to die for. Excellent restaurants are within walking distance. From our deck the first day we saw a sloth, howler and capuchin monkeys, and numerous birds including a toucan and an aracari. Birders, just sit back and let the species flock to you. A short walk down the road one evening led us to three species of monkey including the mono titi and spider monkeys. The birding here is rediculous!!! Ken and Kim were extremely helpful including providing assistance when our luggage didn't arrive the same day we did. Kim actually offered to lend us their clothes!!!! No need to book activities until you arrive and they assist with the arrangements. We also took the trip to Isla Damas with Jose and it was well worth the time to see how local Ticos live. This was a visit to a farm with a fresh, beautiful and authentic lunch, time to walk, swim and boogie board on a gorgeous beach with virtually no one else to be seen in either direction. Jose did a great job as our tour guide. We also booked a fishing excursion on the yacht. Caught four beautiful sailfish! The food was fantastic as well. We were quite pampered. A couple of items that might be helpful is that it wasn't worth our time to drag our snorkel equipement with us. They do have equipment to rent either at the house or down at Playa Biesanz. Also only one room has an ensuite bath. Two rooms share a bathroom which by the way is large enough to have a party in with a huge skylit shower. The maid service was excellent. Cecilia did our laundary and dishes every day. Kim is able to take one person horseback riding at a time and our daughter to be had a terrific time riding at sunset. Kim also arranged a horsetrip so that the whole family could ride including galloping for the experienced riders which is not typical of most trailrides. All in all a fabulous place. One last item. If you are interested in transportation from San Jose to the property I highly recommend Cosa Rica Shuttle. They are by far the best shuttle service I have ever encountered and very reasonable with English speaking drivers who let us stop wherever we wanted to along the way to buy groceries, take pictures, etc."

  • Incredible views!!!!!

"We stayed with my sister and her family at this amazing house. We truly had the most memorable vacation. Every morning we were greeted by Howler, Squirrel, and white faced monkeys. The view of the ocean was spectacular and we were away from the crowds. The house was spotless everyday because of the housekeeper!!! Terry was always so helpful during the entire process of planning this trip!!! We are planning a trip for this December and while we like to go to different places, we are considering doing the same trip again. Make sure you take a look at the memory book-it is really fun to read about previous travelers experiences and write your own!!!"

  • Fabulous living with amazing views

"Our first reaction when we walked in was ..... WOW, What an awesome place. The condo was spacious, relaxed and very well appointed. The bathrooms were spacious with instant hot water and good pressure. Washer/Dryer in the condo made us feel right at home. We loved to spend our mornings on the grand balcony watching and listening to the abundant wildlife. Our highlight one morning was watching two Red Iguanas in what we think was a mating ritual high in the tree canopy. To see nature in it's raw form truly was amazing. The pool down in common area was refreshing. The staff, Eilyn and Martha were extremely friendly and accommodating. Gracias! The daily maid service was excellent. Public transportation was literally right in front of condo. Our favorite restaurant was a "100ft journey". You can't go wrong with this condo. It's centrally located to Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park not to mention the beaches. We look forward to our return and exploring the countryside. Jeff&Gary"
