  • Perfect Location

"Just got back from a 2 night stay in this Condo. Was staying in another condo in the same complex for 5 days prior which was nicer/larger but also more expensive. Can't beat the amazing views and great location of this condo. This is perfect place if you don't want to get a rental car and want to be near beautiful beaches and amazing restaurants and bars. The apartment itself is a little outdated and could. Would be great if there were a couple beach towels and a few others items for guests. The bathroom also could use a bit of a scrub down. Overall I was super happy with the space for the cost! Marc was very responsive and helpful. Will definitely look to stay here again when I come back"

  • Gorgeous views, spacious and wonderful service!

"Casa Luz is situated overlooking your own personal jungle! Every room has a view better than the next! We spotted a sloth, toucans and a monkey in the trees and enjoyed a symphony of birds every morning on the deck. Our boys, 13 and 16, loved the pool and all of the adventure activities Natalia arranged for us (Catamaran, Mangroves, Ziplining to name a few). We had a wonderful meal prepared for us the first night (for the same price as a meal in town) and ate leftovers much of the week. There is a little store just outside your driveway gates for the basics and many tours provide a typical Costa Rican meal. We enjoyed El Avion and Victoria's for dinner, but there are many choices we weren't able to visit this time. We would strongly suggest renting a car with a GPS (programmed for Costa Rica). We drove and navigated our way to many places quite easily, despite some roads being quite bumpy. While many people did walk to restaurants, etc. from this home--it was at least 1/2-3/4 mile to the main road with no shoulder. Locals seemed very accustomed to this, but we were happy to have a car. Take the time to visit places off the beaten path-- our visit to RainMaker was one of our favorite days. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our home and Manuel Antonio. It isn't fancy or brand new, but there is definite pride in ownership and we had everything we needed for our stay. The people, especially Natalia, were gracious and accommodating and truly lived up to the motto--Pura Vida!!!"

  • Fanastic layout and location for families!

"My wife, two daughters (ages 8 and 5) and I had a fantastic week staying at this home up on the hill between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. Tom was as good a host as you could imagine. Very friendly, laid back, helpful, and knowledgable -- as an example, I think he gave us a rundown on every restaurant between Quepos and Manuel Antonio! And there are a lot of them. He hooked us up with his contacts on the beach, guides for hikes, and even a computer IT person when my wife's computer crashed in the middle of the week. The layout of the home was ideal for us. Spacious, with multiple bedrooms -- we could easily have fit in another family to come with us. The outside patio and pool area was particularly outstanding. The kids played in the pool every day, while we would either join them or lie on the patio chairs and couches, drinking a few Imperial beers, of course! The views at night are breathtaking, and the breeze coming through in the evening was particularly comforting. The kids and the adults alike had a great trip, in no small part because of Tom's generosity with his time and knowledge, and the beautiful home in which we stayed. We hope to get back there soon!"

  • Very Cool - Recommended

"Date: Late July 2014. Travelers: Myself and my two teenage daughters. Condo: No complaints, the views are great, the condo was very large and clean. Property: The onsite meals (breakfast for us) were very nice with a nice view. The pool was clean. The property was well maintained and very nice throughout. Location: The location was great - we walked to the close beach (which was gorgeous), we jogged to the beach on the other side (a fun adventure with climbing rocks in the surf when you get there), and our zipline canopy tour excursion company picked us up right at the front door of our condo, couldn't have been easier). Complaints: None Stay there Again? Absolutely, yes!"
