Tremendous home with unbelievable views and fantastic amenities!
"Our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) absolutely loved Casa Aguilita! The views were phenomenal from EVERYWHERE on the property. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in all of the outdoor living space....pool, hot tub, hammocks, outdoor dining area and sun deck. We were sure to be home for the sunsets because they were the best we've ever seen. The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Mary (the owner) was an amazing host. She provided us with some food and drinks, helped to reserve activities for us, let us know what to expect and provided us with fantastic restaurant suggestions, menus, an activity selection guide and a great map to get to the San Jose Airport. It was comforting to know that she was close by if we needed anything, but she certainly gave us our privacy. There is so much to do in Manuel Antonio and the surrounding area. With the spectacular accommodations of Casa Aguilita, friendliness and helpfulness of Mary and many more adventures that we'd like to have in the area, we hope to return soon!"

"Casa Mono Congois a coastal view holiday rental home that has no shrtcomings. The location is excellent with great forest canopy and Pacific Ocean views. Beaches and all the linked activities may be easily reached by a short bus ride or an energetic walk. Like wise for local shops and a variety of restaurants at least one of whicch is strikingly good by any standard.
If you prefer to cook at home the kitchen and dining areas are beautifully appointed giving wonderful surroundings to share a meal with family or friends.
The house and deck are verry spacious and well designed and is built with careful attention both to the needs of those with disabilities and careful preservation of the local environment. As a result, there is plenty of wildlife to delight you without leaving home although Manuel Atonio National Park provdes even more are is only a short ride away.
The staff are efficient, helpful and charming and really help in getting thevery best out of your visit.
Very highly recommended. I intend to go back very soon"

"This condo worked beautifully for our 4 night stay. We were two adult couples traveling so having the two separate bedroom/bathroom combinations worked excellently. Loved the view, spotted howler monkeys in the trees one evening. We were in the rainy season and witnessed an awesome 8 hour lightning and thunderstorm, great views at night from the balcony.
Best to have a car to get around. With 4WD you can drive down to one of the close beaches. Really liked that this property was off the main road so felt more secluded.
Recommend Emilios restaurant just down the road.
Now, here is my caution if you are staying at this location over a weekend. The hotel hosted a 'dance party' on Saturday from 3:00 - 11:00 pm. They set up a DJ near the pool who played blaring music with an electronica beat for yes, 8 hours. The speakers faced all the residence towers and not the hotel. It was too loud inside and with the doors/windows closed. We and others staying in the condo complained but the management was not responsive. Even though there was NO one at the party for the first five hours! It seemed to get started only after 8:00 pm. It looked like this was geared to locals as we did not receive an invitation (they had slipped a flyer under the door for a live music and food discount on Friday night, which had no impact on us). In fact, our rafting guides the next day mentioned they knew about the party from Facebook. It even impeded our ability to drive in/out as they had roped off the entrance and we had to continually prove we belonged on the premises.
This is no reflection on the owners or management company as their hands were tied, nothing Linda, Michael, or Alex could do about the situation. Just an unfortunate experience that detracted wildly from our relaxing vacation. We'd expected Saturday to be our relax at home/pool day. Other than that, I would give it five stars."

"We live in CR and stay at houses in this area from time to time. We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The kids loved the pool, and the slide was a highlight. Squirrel monkeys showed up twice in 4 days. Having AC throughout the whole house was a plus, and is often not available in other houses (usually bedrooms only). We would stay again. If you have a small child, like we did (2 years old) there is a place that a child could fall over the pool by walking the ledge. So, while we were watching her swim, we also placed a chair on that walkway. Otherwise, the house is rather child safe as well, which was important to us. (gates at stairs)"
