  • Such an amazing place!

"We were so blessed to stay in such a paradise. Katharine and her family are so lovely and have created a wonderful place to explore from. We didn't feel we needed a car at all and loved riding the bus into Manuel Antonio. We even hiked into Quepos one evening. There's terrific restaurants within walking distance and the property was so safe and fun. We can't recommend Katherine and her great tour arranging enough. We don't speak much Spanish and she helped us immensely. We felt so well taken care of."

  • A perfect spot to stay in Manuel Antonio

"We rented the top two units at Villa Azul and it was exactly what we wanted, and better than we expected. The units are very spacious and perfect for two couples or six people. The covered decks are wonderful places to sit and take in the views and the jacuzzi is perfect for watching the sunset. We also made good use of the new pool. The location is convenient to everything. Jean is the perfect host. He can book all of your tours, and will give great recommendations on where to eat. I can't imagine finding a better spot to stay."

  • Paradise!!!

"We spent one month in Casa de las Cascadas with our 3 and 5 year old boys and it was like living in Paradise. We had family and friends over for a couple weeks and the house is big enough for 10 without feeling crowded. The villa is at a convenient distance to everything. We didn't have a car and were able to go everywhere we wanted with taxi services and public transportation. The views are spectacular and so relaxing. I could have spent the whole month just sitting ont the terrasse and watching the ocean and mountains! Will definitely return. Fell in love with Costa Rica!!!"

  • Cannot go wrong with this choice in manuel antonio

"We rented both levels of Villa Titi for 3 nights while we were in Manuel Antonio, and loved it - it is hard to go wrong as there are many things that will make this a great spot while in MA. 1. People: Everyone associated with Villa Titi are warm, responsive and helpful. Prior to arriving, John (the owner) was very helpful over the phone and email. The staff on location (remember this is a villa within a hotel) were helpful, and most importantly John's friend Rosa, who made us feel at home and less of a tourist - She spoke to us at least 2-3 times on the phone, advised us on what buses to take, what activities might be appropriate with kids, how to avoid getting ripped off as tourist, and even arranged our transport to San Jose with a wonderful car and driver - she is an excellent resource who makes you feel at home. 2. The Environment : Villa Titi is located in the Hotel Eclipse, which is a collection of villas on a cliff surrounded by lush greenery - there are trees, flowers and wildlife all around. You end up getting the best of both worlds - you own private villa surrounded by nature, yet creature comforts like a swimming pool or a hotel bar or laundry are a few steps away. We saw two types of monkeys, large garden lizards, and butterflies and birds - more animals than you will see at the national park. 3. The Location :You will not find a better location in MA - the hotel entrance is on the main road from Quepos to Manuel Antonio national park, and there is a bus stop just outside the hotel - the bus will take you to the Manuel Antonio beaches, the national park, and also Quepos and the supermarkets. You can also walk to all the other major hotels and restaurants ... they are all walking distance. For little kids, there is a mini butterfly garden about 200 meters (opposite the Si Co Mo No hotel) - you really dont need your own transport to get around. 4. Things you should be prepared for: a) Villa Titi is beautiful but its not luxury - Its a charming home with all amenities (kitchen+utensils, bed, A/C, open space, fast WiFi) but don't expect the four seasons - the bathroom tiles are an older design, and the sinks might be smaller than your fancy resort, but after about 10 minutes you dont notice it, and settle right in b) Manuel Antonio is expensive - Expect New York prices everywhere, and that everything is built for tourists c) Villa Titi has stairs - You are on a cliff so be prepared to walk up and down a fair bit"
