  • BEST vacation to date!

"We had such a great vacation @ this beautiful home. The layout was perfect for our two families (6 kids, 4 adults). The setting was incredibly peaceful, beautiful and convenient. We so appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of the home. Our families switched rooms mid-week so that everyone could enjoy the benefits of each room! We took full advantage of the pool. We had Katia and Carmen cook for us and we were so glad - they accommodated even the pickiest eater (me - vegetarian) and were kind and gracious. We LOVED our trip to Costa Rica! I highly recommend this property."

  • Amazing Views, Amazing People and Amazing House!

"My wife and I just got back from Casa de Frutas in Tulemar. If you want to visit Manuel antonio, please, please, do yourself a favor and stay here. First, the people are great. Dave and Mauricio are the best. They are not only nice, but they genuinely care about their guests. They want you to have a great time! I can't even to begin to describe the beauty of the house or the area. Wildlife everywhere! The house makes you feel like you are in the lap of luxury but in the middle of the jungle. Dave and Mauricio did so many nice things for us at their guests. They brought us warm, hot brownies. They had a very nice lady come in and make us breakfast. They made sure we got everywhere safely. They really went above and beyond. The tours were awesome. We went zip lining and white water rafting - both cannot be missed! Back to the house - we could easily have slept more people. I think that 3 couples would be the perfect amount at Casa de Frutas. It was in a safe area and had a gate. We never felt uncomfortable. The housekeepers were sweet (they scrubbed our shoes after going out all day; I have never seen that level of commitment to making your guests happy). The gardner was so friendly, he showed us all the plants and animals. They were all there for you but never intrusive. Most of all, go and enjoy the scenery and the people. Both are unforgettable. Pura Vida!"

  • Absolutely Fantastic

"This house is spectacular. Honestly, the pictures do not do it justice. Private and away from noise, this place has it all. Large, spacious, multi level, and amazing grounds with a private beach. Plus, the owner is really cool and booked our week's worth of excursions from zip lines to water rafting to catamaran...just amazing. Manuel Antonio is incredible with beauty that we have never seen before and we have been all over the world. Our girls had a blast feeding the monkeys right off our balconies each night! Thanks Ken! It was truly one of the best weeks we have ever had vacationing!"

  • Best balcony view around, fast comp. internet, reasonably priced, clean

"My husband and I just got back from a wonderful 1-week stay at this villa. Really, we couldn't have asked for anything more - from the beautiful view right from your super sized balcony, to the nice pool, to the complimentary wifi and cold AC - we were more than pleased with everything. You can tell that the owner takes good care of this property. It is very well-kept and some of the things in it you won't find at any other rental for this price. It is not a large condo, but it is much larger than your typical hotel room and, more importantly, it has all of the essentials for 2 people, including a microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, LCD TV with satellite connection, a digital safe in the closet, plenty of hangers for your closet, hair dryer in the bathroom. The linen, pillows and mattress were newer, which was very nice to have. We travel quite often and know what's out there, so believe me this is a super deal for what you get. Personally, I loved the tropical vegetation of the rainforest right outside your balcony. We also liked the amazing ocean views also right from your own balcony. If you look out into the rainforest, you will see monkeys, specially in the afternoon hours. We saw a bunch of white-face monkeys as well as titi monkeys. We didn't rent a car so ended up taking $3 taxi ride to Quepos - very easy and there are lots of them around. There is also a bus stop - going in both directions-right out-front. It goes by every 30 minutes and every 15 minutes during lunch hours. It is centrally located so you don't need a car. You can walk pretty much everywhere. In the afternoons, we walked to the local super market, which was right next door and we bought fresh vegetables and fish. The super market is small but you can find pretty much anything you can think of. That was very nice, indeed. If you are booking a tour, you have many to choose from, all of which can be planned for once you check-in at the on-site rental office. All tours will get picked up and dropped off right outside your condo. The beach was a pleasant 20 minute walk. If you don't like to walk, you can pick up the bus right outside the property and you'll be at the beach and the Manuel Antonio National Park in less than 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is interested in the conveniences of staying in a condo versus a hotel, at a great reasonable rate, with a million dollar view, and an owner who really makes sure you have a pleasant stay."
