  • Beautiful views and amazing wildlife

"The driveway is a bit steep but the pay off is the view. Beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding jungle. We heard the Howler Monkeys on our first day and that was just the start. We had white-face capuchin monkeys, squirrell monkeys and toucans all around us and we didn't even have to leave the deck! You can walk to a number of restaurants. Our favorite was Claro Que Si Seafood Restaurant. We did a guided walk in the park, well worth paying for a guide, you will see things with a guide that you would never see on your own. The beach in the park is a bit crowded but very nice. I wish we could have stayed longer."

  • Fabulous living with amazing views

"Our first reaction when we walked in was ..... WOW, What an awesome place. The condo was spacious, relaxed and very well appointed. The bathrooms were spacious with instant hot water and good pressure. Washer/Dryer in the condo made us feel right at home. We loved to spend our mornings on the grand balcony watching and listening to the abundant wildlife. Our highlight one morning was watching two Red Iguanas in what we think was a mating ritual high in the tree canopy. To see nature in it's raw form truly was amazing. The pool down in common area was refreshing. The staff, Eilyn and Martha were extremely friendly and accommodating. Gracias! The daily maid service was excellent. Public transportation was literally right in front of condo. Our favorite restaurant was a "100ft journey". You can't go wrong with this condo. It's centrally located to Quepos and Manuel Antonio Park not to mention the beaches. We look forward to our return and exploring the countryside. Jeff&Gary"

  • Casa Alta: Pura Vida!

"We are a family of 5, with our 3 children now adults (20-23). We wanted to visit Costa Rica over New Years, and Casa Alta was the perfect destination. We were met at the airport in San Jose and were brought directly to Casa Alta in an air conditioned van. We did not need a rental car while staying at Casa Alta, as all of our tours provided transportation and the beach was only a short taxi ride down the hill. We had been in contact with Natalia prior to our visit, and she set up wonderful tours for us that included zip-lining (El Santuario Canopy Adventures - don't go with any other company!), Manuel Antonio Park (saw Howler Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, and White Faced Monkeys), and the Damas Mangrove Estuary (a boat tour - amazing - White Faced Monkeys jumped on the roof of our boat and then back into the trees). Casa Alta is spread out over three levels - with wonderful sunset views. The pool was crystal clear and wonderful for cooling off night or day. We ate and played games both at the bar off the kitchen, and on the patio by the pool. There are two markets within a short walking distance, and a larger grocery store in Quepos (the Pali) for a larger variety. During our stay, Natalia was available by phone (there is a phone at Casa Alta), email, and/or text at all times if we ever had any questions or needed anything. This was a dream come true for our whole family to vacation together in Costa Rica, and Casa Alta was the perfect place to stay. Thank you Natalia!"

  • Awesome Place, Great Views

"This villa was an awesome place to stay in Manuel Antonio. It is centrally located and the views are fabulous. We stayed here for my 50th birthday, and I needed a place with at least 10 rooms. This villa was perfect for the occasion. All rooms have king-size beds and almost every room has its own bathroom. There is a kitchen for the main house and separate kitchens for the 3 two bedroom apartments below the main house. There is one room on the main level which worked out perfectly for my mother who has some difficulties with stairs. With a total of 17 people, everyone was extremely comfortable and had plenty of space. The villa sits on top of a hill near the Hotel Mariposa. There are amazing views of Manuel Antonio National Park and the ocean from every floor. There is a large outdoor table area for dining which we used every day. There is a nice pool for when we did not want to walk down to the ocean, which was a 20 minute walk (or 5 minutes by taxi). We were also visited almost daily by the monkeys. Laurent, the owner, was incredibly helpful. He arranged transport from San Jose for a number of my guests. He also helped to set up the activities we participated in (Catamaran Cruise, Zip-Lining, Mangrove Tour). Finally, he helped us order groceries for delivery from the local supermarket. Laurent was always around to help, but at the same time, he gave us our privacy and was never intrusive. All in all, I would highly recommend this villa, especially for those with a large group. We had a fantastic week in Manuel Antonio and this villa was central to our experience."
