"My family of 6 just retuned home from Costa Rica. If you are looking for a great place to stay, then look no further than Toucan Gardens Villa! The Home is very big and spacious with four bedrooms and four baths. The outdoor patio has a large pool, summer kitchen, bar, pool and ping pong tables. The villa is in the middle of a rain forest with breathtaking views of the ocean in a distance and the mountains. We enjoyed picking fruit from the various trees on the grounds. There is also a nature trail on the property along with beautiful tropical flowers and plants.
Jose, the manager, was a tremendous help. He arranged for a driver and van to pick up and take us back to San Jose airport. He was extremely helpful and he suggested and helped set up the excursions for kayaking in the mangrooves, hiking and swimming at waterfall along with the suspension bridge, deep sea fishing, horseback riding, Manuel Antonio National Forest. Jose is a fabulous chef and our most enjoyable day was spending day at the beach with Jose who spoiled us with the best grilled BBQ, fish, shrimp and guacamole. We ate most of our lunches at various restaurants but Jose's crusine at the beach was the best we had all week
We can't wait to return to Costa and we would definitely stay at Toucan Gardens Villa again. I would highly recommend."

"A couple of emails is all it takes too schedule your dream vacation in CR. Raul the concierge handles all ground transportation (super comfortable van with wi-fi and stops along the way), jungle adventures and fishing. I do recommend Frenzy for offshore fishing however. Book thru their website on your own. Casa Wow is top notch. Beautiful views and very comfortable place to stay with fast wi-fi. The only downside is it is a long walk to the marina and downtown. Raul typically handles most of those trips and cabs are plentiful and cheap otherwise. I will definitely be back."

"Believe all the great comments that you read about Tulemar! My family and I booked a week at a bungalow in the Tulemar resort through our new best friend Chris, our personal concierge for our stay. From the day we booked our bungalow until we left for the airport on our last day, Chris and the team at Tulemar made us feel like royalty. Chris made the planning process for the trip a pleasure by helping us figure out the best activities to participate in (we highly recommend the zip lining and sunset cruise) as well as the best way to get to and from the resort (he arranged for a driver to pick us up and also for local transportation while we were there). When we arrived at the resort we were amazed at the natural beauty, especially the wildlife and AMAZING sunsets over the Pacific Ocean every night. The private beach was truly breathtaking and even though the resort was booked, it was far from crowded. We took advantage of the complimentary boogie boards and kayaks and also highly recommend dining at the beach side restaurant. The facilities are truly amazing including the three pools available for families. Our 8 year old kept us busy from sun up till sun down and sitting pool side with a few drinks watching the sunset while she swam was a great way to end the day. Everyone at Tulemar and in Manuel Antonio / Quepos area were very welcoming and made us feel at home. Very safe, very clean, great food, amazing sightseeing, friendly people made this a real once in a lifetime experience. I travel internationally frequently and Chris and the Tulemar team have made Costa Rica and Tulemar our new #1 destination. We are already planning our return trip with friends and family!!! Thanks Chris for making our vacation truly amazing!!! PURA VIDA!"

"This being our second vacation at this location, I will say the new road to the house which was in the finishing stages upon our arrival was beyond excellent. Nice widened road that was smooth as can be. The road never prevented us from coming back because the property and the hosts Peter and Deborah are awesome people!! The property is still beautiful and enjoyable as it was two years before. We spent two weeks here this time and are planning another trip back next year. Overall the adventures that we took were great: Whitewater rafting, Mangrove tour (monkeys), Manual Antonio Park (sloths and Monkey and more), Palma Sur (Spheres), Waterfalls/Rope Bridge, swimming holes and Canyoning just added to the adventure!! We relaxed several days just on the property to find the waterfalls and hike around to see all the beauty it had to offer. This place is truly a hidden paradise with unlimited potential for adventure. I could go on for hours about this property and would still miss telling of all the fun we had. We even made sure to record the nightly sounds (dink frogs specifically) before leaving so we can have the nightly sound to remind us of our stay!!!"
