  • The Ultimate Honeymoon Getaway

"The Light of Dawn is everything and more of what we had expected. The pictures do not do justice! From the hospitality of Pete and Deborah, to the amazing views of the rainforest, to the absolute delicious and outstanding meals prepared from Edgar (along with his "surprises"), to the sweetness of Clara, and to the mornings of waking up to the howling monkeys, we are already desperately wanting to return. This was the most perfect honeymoon! We were able to have our private tours on the property, two days of excursions where we chose Zip-lining and Horseback riding. Although September is considered a winter month, we certainly lucked out with our tours as they ended up being private with only us two as reservations! Excursions were done in the morning, so upon returning home, we were able to relax to electrifying thunder and lightning storms. For the last two nights of our honeymoon, we chose to stay at the beach. The hotel was a stylish boutique hotel with friendly staff members. The area was nice too as we were able to experience more of the "town" culture of the Manuel Antonio Area. Not was our house stocked with snacks, beverages and goodies, but the same treats came along for our hotel stay at the beach! Pete, Deborah, Edgar and Clara were so wonderful in taking good care of us, we hope they have as great of a memory of us as we do them! xoxo, we hope to see you soon, Kristy and Jim"

  • Great Family Holiday Home

"The description of the house and surroundings given in this website, really correspond with what you encounter when you arrive. Because it was a repeat visit for us, we already were familiar with the house and surroundings. The reason we chose to come back is that all 4 children wanted to come back, without hesitation, and we felt that we had not yet explored the entire area to the fullest. Also, last year was our most relaxed holiday ever. The house is very comfortable and spacious enough so that you can be together, or take some distance from each other would you desire to do so. The house is very tastefully decorated. The kitchen is well equipped. With a good internet connection and cellular reach everywhere, you can choose to be connected with " the rest of the world" whenever you want to. It is very child friendly, and the children have a lot of room to explore on their own! With a large pool right in front of the back porch, it is easy to keep an eye on them, while enjoying the spectacular view in the background. The thought that there is someone on the premises night and day, to keep up the property including the pool, nature trail and garden is comforting. We try to take long excursions one day and then stay close to home the next day. On our days around the house, we hike the nature trail down to the waterfall, which is on the premises, we gather fruit from the trees in the garden, have a BBQ and just chill. On the days out, we take a horseback riding tour, which leaves out of Londres, only 5 minutes away, we drive to Manuel Antonio (25 min) for some souvenir shopping and a nice bite to eat, we visit the local market in Quepos, (20 min) on Friday evening and Saturday morning, or we take a bit longer drive (40 min) to the endless and quiet beaches of Matapalo or even further. There are many excursions very close by such as ziplining, rafting, surfing, mangroves, nature park, fishing, you name it, it is available. Mr. Jose, the contact person, is extremely helpful and knows all the nice spots in the area. Summarizing, a great luxurious house, well suited for families with small children, in the middle of the rainforest, with a spectacular view and endless possibilities of tours and beaches just around the corner."

Quepos Travel Tips

Quick Costa Rican Getaways at Quepos Beach Rentals

Some of the most perfect vacations in Costa Rica take place in the Puntarenas province of the country because of its laid-back atmosphere, beautiful beaches, and lush landscapes. Quepos beach rentals are tucked along tropical inlets and bordering rainforests. However, the village center allows easy access from Quepos resorts to plenty of galleries, gift shops, bakeries, bars, and eateries. You can have fun in the sun and dazzle at night.

Quepos Resorts Let You Party in the Streets

Vacations in Costa Rica are filled with fun and celebration, especially from December to April when dancing in the streets seems to be the norm. The high point is the Festival del Mar which is a month-long party every February. You will hear and see the festivities from many Quepos resorts so you will not be able to help but join in the fun. Have the time of your life attending the parades, concerts, and street carnivals.

Know the History of Quepos Beach Rentals

It is always helpful to know a little history of a place before you visit. Many Quepos resorts exist on lands that were once used for banana plantations or palm farms. In the late 19th century, the main industry was bananas which eventually lost out 100 years later to African palms. However, as you probably have noticed, tourism is the main industry in the village now. And rightly so, as vacations in Costa Rica, especially those in Quepos beach rentals, are something you cannot miss out on!

Experience Beach Perfection on Vacations in Costa Rica

People from all over the world visit Quepos to spend time in the Manuel Antonio National Park. This park offers one of the most popular beaches in all of Costa Rica, so Quepos beach rentals in this area are really prime spots. Though many plants and animals are protected in the park, you can charter deep sea fishing expeditions, scuba dive, and simply enjoy all the natural sights and sounds as you experience the true Costa Rica for yourself.
