These are the days you'll never forget
"Returning to Costa Rica, Manuel Antonio, and La Vista for the second time only reconfirmed the notion that this is the greatest place on earth. If you love nature, come. If you love monkeys playing around you and stealing a mango from the kitchen table because you didn't close the glass door completely, come. If you love spectacular views, come. If you love friendly people, come. If you love amazing, fresh food, come. If you're in a rut and need something new, come.
There's a magic to this place that rivals that of any fictional world. In novels and movies, you're left with a feeling of sadness when the credits flash or the final page is read, because you lent yourself to another world for a time and then must return to your own. Here you are creating your own story in what seems another world. You get to experience the sound of the ocean roaring over morning tamarindo juice. You get to wake up to toucans cawing back and forth. You get to have monkeys yank on your hair because you're dozing on the edge of the pool instead of paying attention to them. You get to turn off all the lights in the villa and stare in awe at the night sky so full of stars that you get dizzy from the magnitude and closeness of their overwhelming proximity. Go rafting down the Savegre River. Go horseback riding on the beach. Go to la feria and try the mouthwatering fruits. Step out of your comfort zone and live.
Write your own story, create your own journey, experience Pura Vida so you never grow old."

Most friendly hotel I have ever been to in my life.
"This is definitely a place for family. It's amazing to see how the hotel and nature lives together. Aside the awesome view, what makes me happy most was the staff. It truly feels like everyone in the resort have their customers at heart. We had our own concierge, Andres - super helpful and friendly. The shuttle driver, Willy was sooooo amazing, he talked to us and showed us wildlife even just for a 1 minute drive. Kiskadee was gorgeous and so well kept. Everything was so comfortable. From the service to the casa, to the wildlife, to the private beach, it was just a great experience.
The only drawback that I have is I didn't book longer to stay in Tulemar"

"When we checked in the concierge at the front desk said "Oh! You have the best villa at the resort". We thought, he probably says that to everybody. That was before we opened the front door and stepped inside. It was fully air conditioned and that day it was extremely hot and humid. It was so welcoming. There was even an ice maker! Oh happy day! The owner had thought of everything. The interior inside was so tastefully decorated and colorful. No sooner were we there and 15 minutes later a large family of spider monkeys came to check us out on the balcony. Everyday there were monkeys, always the curious Capuchins, and one morning we were serenaded by the howler monkeys on a tree next to the villa. If you hear noises at night it's the monkeys on the roof. There was an abundance of wildlife at this resort and our concierge Jonathan was extremely friendly and helpful. Always a phone call away if we needed anything. Our 13 year old enjoyed the pools, but mostly the boogey board down at the private beach. We took a zipline tour through Canopy Safari one day in the pouring rain, but it was warm. The next day we headed to Manuel Antonio National Park and took a guided tour. We saw lots of sloths and interesting insects/snakes, but it's a very touristy place on the beach so we decided to go back to Tulemar and use our own private beach. We ate at several restaurants and loved Aqua Azul and if you visit please say hi to Caesar who owns the Wagon Wheel (they make wood fired pizzas there). Everyone in the area is super friendly and we definitely would recommend Villa Mot Mot and Tulemar Resort as a prime destination in Costa Rica."

"Lovely home, convenient to stores yet far enough away to avoid traffic and noise. All the rooms have A/C and the pool is a delightful addition. If there were any issues with the house the owner, as well as her staff ,were immensely responsive and available. The house is wi-fi, local calls are free, and the boogie boards were a terrific add-on. We used the public beach which was easily accessible, a gym at a nearby hotel called Los Altos,, and we shopped for food at the local markets. My sons' rented jet skis and we were able to rent chairs and umbrellas from "mary" at this same public beach ($6/day). There is a beautiful view of the mountains from the upper balcony and combined with our morning coffee watching the monkeys; it truly was "pura vida"."
