"What a wonderful week we had at Tulemar. Our spacious 3-bedroom villa was clean, convenient, and tastefully decorated with stunning views of the jungle and ocean. There was plenty of room for all eight of us (4 adults and 4 kids). Loved having morning coffee on our balcony, and really enjoyed the huge gorgeous showers. The kitchen was well equipped. Thanks to our concierge, Bryan, for helping us with reservations and logistics, Christopher for an amazing dinner, Daniela for the best mojitos ever, and David for his excellent service at the beach and his attentiveness to the our kids. Staff everywhere are friendly and take the time to point out wildlife - we saw sloth and monkeys daily. The beach is a bit of a hike but we enjoyed the walk and saw some great wildlife along the way. A shuttle is available for those who can't tolerate hilly terrain. Overall, an amazing experience that I would recommend without reservation."

"The Casa was the perfect get away with our family. The house is beautiful with all the amenities needed to enjoy time away. It was wonderful to have Oscar living on the premises. And the owner, Randy provided detailed information on the area with excellent options for Costa Rican adventures with the locals. The Quepos location was perfect for fishing, beach, nature adventures and just relaxing by the pool."

"Our family, including 2 teen girls and my mother, enjoyed our week at this beautiful secluded air-conditioned rental home up in the hills of Costa Rica. A 4x4 is a MUST to get up the dirt/rocky hills, but we all thought that was part of the adventure. If you like to be right in the middle of all the action, then this is probably not for you, but my family loved it. We all enjoyed adventures each day in nearby Quepos/Manuel Antonio and then returned for a swim in the pool to watch the sunset before heading out again for dinner or making dinner at the house. It is at least a 15 minute trip to get to Quepos and about 5 minutes of it is on a dirt road through African Palm Trees. The home is located in a gated area, but you literally can't see another home from it. It has beautiful views and off to the far south, you can see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. The people that manage the home live nearby and were very helpful in getting us to the home and helping us locate good restaurants. As with all homes, there were a few very minor things that the owner needs to fix, but none of it was really a big deal. (The dishwasher ran loudly, there were some scratchy animal noises in the vents, and the wood around the pool needs to be replaced.) The home is very clean and there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy themselves. Also, the owner, was very helpful and easy to work with via phone/email prior to our visit. We would definitely stay again. We heard about a good adventure even further up the mountain that we didn't get to try, but hear is good."

"Casa Carolina exceeded our expectations on every level! The property is a lush, pristine paradise with breathtaking views in every direction. From the moment we arrived, it was a spectacular experience. The Casa Carolina team delighted us daily by going above and beyond to offer assistance with anything imaginable - from Saul searching for surf board rentals with the teens to Lisbeth preparing local fruit plates for breakfast and Willy arranging a top-notch private guide for the Manuel Antonio national park. It is clear that they take immense personal pride in hosting guests. While there are plenty of excellent places to dine nearby, we ended up having dinner at home every night since it was so relaxing. Lisbeth’s homemade chips and guacamole were out of this world, and Roger (the personal chef) prepared four-course culinary masterpieces that would rival the finest restaurant. In addition to exploring the rain forest and "shredding" some waves, we ventured out into town nearly every day and have never met local residents more friendly and helpful than the people of Quepos. This is truly a trip we'll remember forever. Thank you Casa Carolina!"
