  • Awesome views in a family paradise

"My family and I are staying in the Tulemar bungalows right now and they are so great!! The private beach is secluded in a cove and protected from large waves, and is amazing with free toys, kayaks and other beach fun. Beat beach I've seen in a long time. Fabulous natural rock pool right in the ocean is shallow with warm ocean water, perfect for lounging or small kids to play. Several pools throughout resort too. Beautiful bungalows and like luxury treehouses with 360 degrees of windows. I won't look for another resort in this area if I return, this one is absolutely perfect. Great for couples too, I would says it's actually perfect for anyone."

  • Highly Recommended

"If you can get a reservation in this most beautiful home consider yourself VERY fortunate. It is peaceful and beautiful, with your own private pool overlooking a gorgeous view of the ocean and tropical forest. I took my family there, 5 adults and 3 children [11-7yrs.] and we all were very happy. All of us were in love with this house. The staff is very friendly and helpful with all the excursion planning [there are wonderful things to see and do around there] and we had delicious, healthy breakfasts [included] and amazing dinners. All the rooms are very spacious and clean and the decor and furniture is beautiful and comfortable. We were so happy we were nearly in tears when we had to leave. I hope we can return one day. My love to Casa Carolina."

  • Simply Amazing!

"INCREDIBLE VILLA! I would be remiss to not first mention the greatest aspect of this villa, the VIEW! The pictures simply cannot do justice to the view you will see from each floor of this villa. The villa overlooks Manuel Antonio National park which includes the an amazing ocean view. It is breathtaking, awe inspiring and truly something you can hardly believe you’re looking at. We stayed at Villa Manuel Antonio for the first week of April and everyday since our return home my family wakes up wishing we were there. The villa is very spacious, clean, and perfect for large and small groups. We stayed with a group of 25 people including 7 children. The main house and two of the condos below fit us perfectly. The Villa is perfectly located with plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. The beach, national park, and Quepos are a short taxi drive away. If you plan to walk to the beach it’s about a 15-20 minute hike, but with the great views and beautiful area, it’s worth the walk. A couple from our group spotted a sloth scaling a wall on their hike and was able to stand just a few feet from it. The villa also has a nice pool and comfortable air-conditioned rooms. The daily maid and laundry service are definitely a bonus if you packed light. Lorenzo, the owner, is a larger than life character. His hospitality, charm and service were better than we could have imagined. He always has a smile on his face and a funny story to tell. Not only did he arrange for our transportation to pick us up from the airport, but he also helped us plan our day trips, buy groceries, and answered all of our random questions. On top of all that, he helped us through the whole process of planning our wedding (held on the property), from the catering, to the music, to taking great pictures for us during our wedding! To add to our great vacation were the monkeys we saw at the villa every morning…they were truly unforgettable. You’ll be able to see them mainly in the mornings and evenings when is not so hot. They come close to you and you can watch them play around the patio. My only advice would be make sure you close the front door because monkeys love to swoop in and take unattended fruit (which is amazing too by the way!). I highly recommend Lorenzo’s villa to anyone that is looking for a comfortable, family friendly place, and wants to just relax and have a good time!"

  • Nice home at nice price

"This villa, set at the end of a street, provides privacy in the heart of Manuel Antonio, yet there is easy access to the beach, park, tour operators, stores, and restaurants. There is a panoramic, sweeping view of a pristine valley, with a vista of mountains and sea beyond, where we watched beautiful sunrises every morning while sipping coffee and bird watching. In the neighborhood we saw a squirrel monkey, a sloth, and a rare duck (gray billed wood rail), iguanas, and many lovely birds. The private pool was a great place to unwind after the beach or the other exciting activities we did in the area (zip lining, white water rafting, surfing and paddle boarding, the Nat Park). While the home isn't luxurious, it has a nice kitchen, there is a nice view from inside, and there are verandas on 3 sides for nice light and bird watching. The home is safe, gated, and kept up by the caretaker, Elaudio, a very gentle, sweet man who is friendly and kind, and helpful without ever being intrusive. It is a roomy home where your family can enjoy their time together with privacy and space in a non-fussy atmosphere at a reasonable price. We recommend arriving during daylight hours, as the road leading to the house is daunting at night, with a steep drop that is not nearly as frightening in the daylight. There is a store just a .5k walk away, and you can catch the bus into town at the turn off to the little road, but you'll appreciate having a car if you stay here. My spouse and I are both over 55 but fit and enjoyed walking down the lane daily, but if you older or have mobility issues, it could pose a problem."
