  • Gorgeous views, spacious and wonderful service!

"Casa Luz is situated overlooking your own personal jungle! Every room has a view better than the next! We spotted a sloth, toucans and a monkey in the trees and enjoyed a symphony of birds every morning on the deck. Our boys, 13 and 16, loved the pool and all of the adventure activities Natalia arranged for us (Catamaran, Mangroves, Ziplining to name a few). We had a wonderful meal prepared for us the first night (for the same price as a meal in town) and ate leftovers much of the week. There is a little store just outside your driveway gates for the basics and many tours provide a typical Costa Rican meal. We enjoyed El Avion and Victoria's for dinner, but there are many choices we weren't able to visit this time. We would strongly suggest renting a car with a GPS (programmed for Costa Rica). We drove and navigated our way to many places quite easily, despite some roads being quite bumpy. While many people did walk to restaurants, etc. from this home--it was at least 1/2-3/4 mile to the main road with no shoulder. Locals seemed very accustomed to this, but we were happy to have a car. Take the time to visit places off the beaten path-- our visit to RainMaker was one of our favorite days. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of our home and Manuel Antonio. It isn't fancy or brand new, but there is definite pride in ownership and we had everything we needed for our stay. The people, especially Natalia, were gracious and accommodating and truly lived up to the motto--Pura Vida!!!"

  • Perfect place for 2 or larger groups

"My husband and I spent a week at Jungle Creek and loved every minute of it. The location was just right for us; far enough away from road noise and hustle & bustle yet close enough to be able to walk in the evening to a few restaurants/bars. The owners (Paula & Clark) live on site and offer a perfect balance between guest privacy and helpful advice. They offer an additional service of booking any day trips you may want to do, they use reputable companies and are able to negotiate good rates. This is very unusual for holiday rentals and the service was brilliant. We stayed in the room called Gekko which is an extremely large studio which was just perfect for us. It was very spacious, comfortable and clean. After about 3 days a cleaner cleaned the room and supplied fresh towels which was also unexpected for a rental. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay at Jungle Creek and the only negative point about our stay was that we had to leave. If we are ever in Costa Rica again, we would definitely stay here again."

  • Best Vacation Ever!

"This place is the perfect combination between relaxing and having fun. The guides know everything about the area and speak perfect Spanish and English. They are accommodating while still giving you your space. My favorite part of the day was just relaxing around the pool and enjoying the oasis that is your home away from home for the week. I would highly recommend staying here - you'll feel like part of their family!"

  • ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!

"Only 30 minutes away from he beach, this house is in a beautiful valley where mornings are gloriously sunny and nights are just fresh enough for a good night's sleep. Traveling with 2 other couples, it was great that the bedrooms were in different little cabinas. It really limited the noise and maximized privacy! (each of them have an outdoor shower, which we adored). We always kept the main house doors open because we loved feeling the breeze run through the house (and see the occasional swallow fly across the living room). The house, the view and the colourful gardens are breathtaking; we could tell the owners designed everything to offer an optimal contact with nature and all the beauty costa rica has to offer We loved meeting Susie and François (the owners), who are really kind and helpful. During the high season, they live not too far away and were always available to help us / answer questions. They offered to rent us their 4x4 truck, which was a life saver since it sits 6 people and works famously in the heavier dirt roads. Lots of activities are organized in the region: Horseback riding trips, hikes in the mountains (Diamante Waterfall), organic " feria " (farmers' market) in Tinamastes, etc. Also, there is a beautiful waterfall on the property (about a 10-minute walk). We loved waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee and walking down there to have a swim in the fresh water jungle pool I'd recommend this house to anyone who loves nature and wants to really feel the essence of Costa Rica! Thank you for the amazing stay!"
