"All of the great reviews about the house are true and the pictures on the site do not do it justice. The house is fantastic and across the road from Montezuma Falls as well as the Anamaya resort that offers yoga/massage which was a nice treat. The town itself is a couple of minutes away and we loved visiting the different restaurants – our favorite was Cocolores where the fresh fish and relaxed ambiance was beyond compare. We initially planned to stay a few days but between the house and town of Montezuma we extended our stay. We even volunteered at the Montezuma beach Turtle Hatchery. Lora, the manager was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Our kids, aged 6, 8 and 14 LOVED the layout of the house and the pool. We were daily visited by Howler monkeys, hummingbirds and coatis. There is plenty to do in Montezuma (Zuma tours was fantastic + Young Vision surf school) and the fact that we had such an amazing location made it even more memorable. We will be back."Guest: LizetteB Date of Stay: August 2013 Review Submitted: September 23, 2013View listing
"We had an excellent experience at the pool house. The house is very clean and comfortable and the pool is wonderful. It was incredibly relaxing and wish we could have stayed much longer. I enjoyed the close proximity to Montezuma and Cabo Blanco and being able to come back to such a peaceful home. Ginny makes sure everything is in order and I felt like this place was well worth the money. I highly recommend it."Guest: Randy B. "This place is fantastic. The house was clean and very comfortable. So nice to have the windows and doors open the whole week we were there. The pool was clean and warm, with a great view of the ocean. The manager, Leanne, was very helpful and friendly. The owner, Joachim, happened to be in the area so it was great to meet him. We appreciated his offer to help with any problem we had (which was none). It was obvious that he takes pride in his property and it showed from the decor and the maintenance. Definitely would stay here again and we highly recommend it. Mike and Maria"Guest: irishm Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: April 23, 2014View listing
"Chez Mu is a beautiful home in a rugged, beautiful area. It is close to Montezuma but off the path enough to enjoy beautiful views, sounds of the jungle and enjoy the wildlife. The kitchen is well stocked with nice appliances and dishes. The bedrooms are air conditioned and the furnishings are basic, clean and comfortable. The house is well stocked with coolers and beach mats for a day at the beach. The deck area is amazing. It is better than the pictures. We loved getting up in the morning, listening to the monkeys, seeing the ocean and viewing birds from the gorgeous infinity pool. The pool is small but our family loved relaxing in the pool soaking in the view. The owners are responsive by email and the caretakers keep the property clean and are sweet and helpful. We cannot wait to come back!"Guest: Sheridee Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: August 6, 2014View listing
