"My family and I luckily choose this house for out first adventure to Costa Rica. We were in search of beautiful views and privacy to get away. This house is in a great location, far enough of the main road for the peace and quiet, yet close enough to get to Manuel Antonio or Quepos easily. The house is spacious and set up for lots of privacy through out the house. The views are amazing of both ocean and mountains from every balcony. Jonathan helped us set up an ATV tour, zip lining, spa services and our family favorite Carlos the chef to prepare meals from the home. Carlos was excellent and we highly recommend!! He would quickly prepare whatever we requested, we enjoyed every meal we had. You can't go wrong with this house, we definitely plan to return!"

Large, luxurious, great location and fantastic owners!
"The condo is spacious and comfortable with a full, well stocked kitchen and an outdoor grill. We had grandparents and teenagers with us and everyone enjoyed their own private space with TVs in every bedroom, en-suite bathrooms, and private patios. There were 6 of us and we could have easily slept and fed 4 more.
Location, location, location: Two quiet, private Bella Vista pools are less than a 60 second walk from the condo, and the main beach club is less than 5 minutes away on foot. The marina is a few minutes by golf cart or car, and a great place for reasonable dining, convenience groceries, liquor and beer. There are plenty of activities off-resort too including a full range of casual to fine dining in Playa Herradura and Jaco; plus beautiful hiking in Carara/Bijagual waterfall; adventures like ATV tours, canopy tours, horse-back riding, and sailing/boating - all minutes away by car. The condo is also well situated geographically roughly equidistant between the San Jose airport and Manuel Antonio park with plenty of day-trip type of activities available by car.
Lastly and most importantly, the owners of this property couldn't be better. We were pleasantly surprised to find snacks, beer, juice and milk available upon our arrival, especially after spending way more time at the car rental office than planned. The owners also helped us plan our trip prior to arriving, stopped by to greet us personally after calling to make sure it was a convenient time, and even found us on the beach mid-way through our trip to follow-up on some activity information we had requested.
Bottom line: I would recommend this condo to anyone, and we will definitely be visiting again!"

"Seven of my family members descended upon Casa Java. My son is a surfer and has lived in Santa Teresa. The rest of us have been there numerous times. This was our best experience by a long shot. We are beach people. Having the ability to walk fifty yards to one of the best beaches we feel in the world is a real plus. Great surfing, walking, fishing, horseback riding on the beach. The house was perfect for our needs. The downstairs living area was an open concept which was very comfortable and accommodating. We grilled in as many nights as we ate out. Lots of room and little nooks for privacy. The bedrooms and baths were excellent and all were happy. There is security from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The staff was friendly, polite and very efficient. Lots of privacy and the kids loved the pool after a day at the beach or at night. We would highly recommend Casa Java and I know we will be back."

"From check-in to check-out, this property was a breeze. This small community of 30 or so beach cottages was perfect for our group of 4. The home sits about 100 yards or so off the beach allowing your to hear the waves from the porch.
Upon our arrival, the house was clean and seemed ready for us. The home had everything we needed in terms of amenities, which gave us a great feel of a home away from home.
I do recommend having a car rental in this area to help your group get around. There are taxi services in the area but it is much easier to get a ride back to the house from town then vise versa. The home is situated about a 1/4 mile off the main highway on the dirt access road in Playa Hermosa. This is a surfers paradise as there are tons of consistent waves up and down the beach in Playa Hermosa. The one downfall of this beach is that it is Black Sand which makes it very hot to lay out on but the community pool offers a great solution to this.
Jaco is the largest town in the area and is about 10 minutes north via car. Once you spend a day or two in Jaco, you'll realize you made the right choice by staying in Playa Hermosa. We stayed here during mid-August and the weather was perfect!
The house as awesome, the hospitality was amazing, the communication was convenient. Thank you for the memories!"
