"When we came up the little dirt road leading to casa roja, we did anything else than expect such an splended, neat and well built finca. We felt comfortable from the first second. The pool area just toped that impression Freddy was super cool, dropped by every now and then to chat and look if we need anything. Very good guy!!! The 2 nights felt flying by in such an awesome place and we regret to not have taken more time. Very recommendable place!!!"

"The stay at this site was too short. We were trying to be ambitious and stay on both sides of the Golfo Dulce in a 6 day period. We had such a fun time at this property surf, swim, and golf (yes golf). It was a lovely house enjoyed old movies that were there with the kids and felt pampered. Next time we bring more friends and family and have a family fiesta. You won't need but light clothing, packing light is recommended. We drove from San Jose you might consider flight to Quepos and renting car from Vamos. But we were glad to stop for groceries in Jaco for gourmet items ( Tofu, almond milk, granola, peanut butter, jelly etc) and Rio Claro for staples.) Groceries are high in Pavones. Make sure you turn on road before Surf restaurant, we missed it first time. Judi the owner is great and supportive by phone in those moments. Arrive before dark reduces anxiety for cars occupants. But when you wake up in am you will be amazed at properties location and amenities, like your own private Hotel."

"We were greeted in Golfito by an exceptionally accomodating and affable caretaker, Scott. The views from the house are spectacular. We wanted for absolutely nothing as Scott treated us like his own. If you are in the Pavones area and don't stay here, you are missing out. We are looking forward to getting back for more adventuring as soon as possible. Thank you again Scott! Kindest Regards, Thomas Berry"

"El Paraiso de Miguel is a hidden paradise gem. Not only was our refrigerator stocked when we arrived with all of our asked essentials but the grounds contained fresh vegetables and herbs for the taking. The owners were always willing to arrange local adventures and were well known by the locals. Local adventures include, horseback riding (beach to jungle), beautiful waterfall hikes, zip lining (Golfito) and playing horseshoes at the local bar(SOL Y MAR) where they serve the best fish tacos and homemade hot sauce! They kept an itemized list of all food and adventures (including tip, per our request) so we did not have to worry about carrying cash and could pay them directly at the end of our stay. Beautiful property and Beautiful people!"
