"We were there for a weekend to spent some time with my cousin before her wedding. She and my other friends loved this house, the view is amazing, you can see the mountain in one side and the ocean in the other. It was the perfect choice to rest and disconect yourself of everything.
I hope to be back soon!"

"My family and I came to Costa Rica from New Jersey to enjoy a bit warmer weather since our December had been colder than usual. We envisioned long, warm days lounging and swimming at the pool enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This home is truly lovely, well-kept, clean and nice as the pictures displayed at VRBO.
If I were rating this review solely on the house, it would be 5 stars. However, there two areas of the home that I believe that the owner may want to consider improvement on – 1) the master bathroom shower drainage system needs replacement/repair and 2) the living room large black sofa is in poor condition.
Matt, the caretaker, was a great help for anything we needed. He was attentive and addressed our concerns timely. He made suggestions regarding restaurants, entertainment, and nightlife in Jaco which is 10 minutes driving by car from the house.
Playa Hermosa is super cool little town with amazing beaches, views, waves, restaurants and bars.
We rented a car so the trips to and from Jaco for dinner, nightlife, afternoon surfing contests, etc were a blast.
We visited Manuel Antonio beach (1.5 hrs drive from the house), went zip lining and rode ATV, which we loved. We also visited Arenal volcano, which was a long trip, but worth it. We loved the volcano and surrounding areas. Next time we will check out the hot spring.
All in All it was one of the nicest places we have stayed in Costa Rica...This was our 2nd time in the country, So a big thanks to Liz and Matt for allowing us to stay in your home and taking good care of us.

"We had a wonderful time in Kristy's home. The location was perfect! Marco the property manager was helpful setting up excursions and giving us information. The "House Book" with favorite restaurants, tours etc. was extremely helpful. The pool was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better location. My family is already planning our next trip to Costa Rica!! Thank you Kristy for a great first experience."

"My family is still reminiscing about how wonderful our stay was at Opera Salvaje. The villa and location was just perfect! We are a family of four (with two college children) and it offered everything we could ask for. After each day's activities we relaxed in the pool. The villa has a nice flow and the bedrooms are separated by the livingroom area, all with access to the patio/pool with an outdoor shower. The villa is well appointed and nicely designed with local architectural touches. All the accommodations you need are offered (wifi, etc.). What made our stay even more special was Kelie!! Without her, we are convinced our vacation wouldn't have been great as it was. She gave us all the best recommendations for the many activities we did, wonderful restaurants and even the car rental company (which will take you to and from the airport-a must!). We especially loved the hiking trails she recommended we go on and are so close to the villa. We would hike in the early morning to see the Capuchin monkeys and enjoy the spectacular views. Everyday, we went into Jaco, which is only short drive from the house. There you will find the black volcanic beach, watch amazing surfers and can even take a lesson or two. My kids did and loved it! Kelie will give you the scoop on anything you need. When you leave Opera Salvaje, you will be sad to go. It's a different experience when you are staying in a villa as opposed to a resort. After being on the go every day, it was nice to come "home" so to speak. We highly recommend you stay at Opera Salvaje, you will enjoy it for sure!"
