"This villa is airy, spacious and comfortable. Both bedrooms have private baths with lovely walk-in stone showers. Either room could be considered the "Master Bedroom". They are both beautiful with natural wood, AC, ceiling fans and very comfortable beds. We were the first guests to sleep on the brand new mattress with brand new platform! Couldn't decide which room we loved more! All three double doors open from the bedrooms and living room to the beautiful patio. The pool affords shade in the height of the day and makes swimming comfortable out of the direct sunlight for hours each day. Did all our cooking on the the fabulous grill. Area equipped with outdoor sink. Outdoor shower as well for rinsing sandy feet after the beach. Guard house next door insured our safety with friendly guards to greet us coming and going each day. Kelie is a dream and we consider her a friend after a month of her accommodating our every need. Pura Vida."

"My husband and I went to Costa Rica for our Honeymoon. We had the pleasure of staying in Casa Escondida for a whole week. I can not say enough wonderful things about this beautiful home. It was exactly as described. We loved how open the house was with all the windows and doors. We stayed here for a week and then decided to travel for another week. I wish we stayed here the whole time instead. We met Ricardo(the caretaker) and spent a lot of time with him. He made our stay such a great experience. He took us to do so many things. We barely understood him and he barely understood us but it didn't matter....we made it work. It was nice to just lay in the hammocks outside with a couple of beers and just watch the Tucans and listen to all the sounds of wildlife all around. My husband and I aren't really in to doing a lot of Touristy stuff and this was the place to just sit back, relax, surf etc.... I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a home away from home! :)"

"Thank you Tim,
Having spent past several years going south and cruising I must say that we have never experienced anything quite like your lovely home and the beauty of Hermosa Palms. The home itself is well laid out and very comfortable. The only issue we had was with a sink drain and that was handled promptly. This community is truly a magical place with a monkey to eat from your hands in the back yard to the beautiful macaws making thier daily 3.30 pm flight around the pool. We had coffee every morning around 6.30 am at the tiki hut poolside looking out over a spectacular beach scene. Days spent exploring the country side and evenings on the beach applauding the most glorious sunsets. It truly is that beautiful.. The people that we met there were mostly resident owners but without exception they made us feel very welcome. I can not say enough about our personal experience. Be aware though that this may be habit forming, as we were making plans for a return before we left. Perhaps an extended stay of lets say a month next time. What do you think Tim, can you part with this little slice of heaven for that long for us?
Again many thanks
We look forawrd to our return.
Harold & Janet"

We had an amazing 3 weeks in this beautiful piece of heaven
"We stayed in this house for 3 weeks over Christmas. It was simply amazing. Lonny was fantastic to deal with and the guard Pelone was superb. He only speaks Spanish but make an effort and learn the basics of Spanish and use a translator. You are in Costa Rica and they do speak Spanish after all. We sat for a couple of nights talking and it was great we had no problems communicating. Both Lonny and Pelone made sure that we had everything we needed. We had 5 monkeys, toucans, macaws and green parrots right at the house. The pool is great and the view is simply amazing. The house is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice, it was very clean and comfortable for our family of 4. I fully intend on staying here next time we visit Costa Rica and do not hesitate recommending it, in fact, I have already recommended it to people. I just can't say enough about this property. One important note is that you need a 4x4 vehicle."
