  • This is Paradise

"My girlfriend and I have been here nearly one month and it is fabulous. The location is perfect for going into town or the beach. Easy, inexpensive, reliable bus transportation or a quick cab ride. The monkeys have visited, the birds are very vocal and we have an iguana who has taken permanent residence on the patio roof..the amenities are perfect. The heated, locked security closet is a real perk and having a washer and dryer makes the visit even more stress free. The Hotel California behind the complex offers amazing sunsets, happy hour specials, and wonderful food. As two women traveling alone we couldn't feel more safe and secure. Lance and Letty are great people as well as awesome musicians...they rock it every Saturday in Quepos...I did a lot of research on choosing a place to stay for an extended period and I know I got the best value..Pura Vida!"

  • Just great... Everything

"What a phenomenal house, town, beach, I could go on and on. Our group was 7 good friends about 25-35 yrs old, and we were looking for a place to relax, surf, go on hikes and adventures, have group diners, etc. It was great being so close to the beach and surfing spots. Santa Teresa and other within walking dist from the house are great, and Hermosa, a 15 min drive north, was a great place for beginner surfing. The town was chill and laid back, exactly what I'd expect it to be. There were many restaurants, surf shops, gift stores, and a grocery/general store, but it was not "touristy" at all. Felt very safe and comfortable the whole time. Finally, Scott was great to work with, and the caretaker for the property, David, is the most kind, cool, and hospitable we could have asked for. He has all the local knowledge, great surfer, great jazz saxophone player, and will make your trip the most of whatever you want it to be. I would definitely come back to this exact spot again! Thanks David - Jared and the crew"

  • Relaxation and adventure at its finest

"What's better than an early morning horseback ride down to the beach and then up into the jungle? That was just our first day at Paraiso de Miguel. The breathtaking sunsets both from the house and from the beach are amazing. The best part about the rental is your neighbors, Michael and Elizabeth. They are willing to do whatever it takes to make your vacation the best Costa Rican experince possible. Great people, beautiful scenery,"

  • First timers

"This was our first visit to Costa Rica. We had a great experience starting at the beginning with our welcome information. The arranged transportation went perfectly which made for a great start of our vacation. John and Stephanie were the most gracious, compassionate, and caring hosts. Sometimes you are skeptical of what you see on the Internet, hoping that what you see is what you get. The condo was exactly what we thought we were getting upon arrival. We were in awe of the views and the sound of the ocean waves. The condo was clean and perfect for us. Having coffee on the upper balcony with the sun rising won't be forgotten. We are already planning our vacation next year and plan on returning to the condo."
