"I have stayed at this condo for three summers in a row. I couldn't find a better location for convenience to the beach, downtown, and even Playa Hermosa. Great restaurant and Soda right across the street, as well as a famous surf shop. The pool is always sparkling, the grounds are beautiful and peaceful, and the staff is unbeatable. The barbecue grill area is fabulous."

Beautiful spacious home located near many things to do and see
"Our family visited Costa Rica this summer and spent one week in Tarcoles at Tica Linda. The house had everything we could imagine or need as well as being close to restaurants, hiking, Nat'l park and beaches. Our kids enjoyed playing in the river behind the house as much as the private pool. The house was clean and well cared for and the Property Manager was very helpful and provided great insight concerning the area. I would definitely recommend this home to couples AND FAMILIES!"

"My husband and I, plus our teenage granddaughter, stayed in this condo on the 6th floor and what a great decision we made! The photos are true and the balcony also has a couch
which my husband took all his naps there! There is a wood dining table plus a high round bar table with stools. We could live on the balcony with the beautiful views of the beach. Hearing the waves was so peaceful. We never wanted to leave it. Having an end unit we also had the side view of the balcony that had a view of the full beach! This unit is special with front view from kitchen window and high side windows which makes it light and bright in the living room. TV's in both bedrooms, Washer and Dryer in unit, fully equiped kitchen, two bathrooms for each bedroom with rain shower heads in both. There is an elevator right by the front door and a security guard at the gate entrance. The Palms is right next door to the new Croc's Hotel with a nice size casino, full bar by their pools and other amenities that are shared with the Palms.
You don't even have to go outside your complex to get there. Just a walkway from your parking area over to their pools. They will give you towels there also. The palms also has a pool you can see from your balcony. I was lucky enough to see two parrots fly right by the balcony which was beautiful! Jaco has a lot of restaurants to chose from and we truly enjoyed our stay in Butch's spacious condo. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit. I feel like I made a new friend from phone conversations with the owner. The management company is very helpful also. One day we had a tour bus pick us up and we took a catamaran for the day to Tortugua island. I recommend this side trip and Butch's condo- either one, you won't be sorry."

"We spent about 10 days at the Tango Mar compound in Mid February 2015 together with a group of five adults and four children. The property allowed everyone to have their own space with four separate homes, all joined by paths through the jungle. The pool area was fantastic and we spent hours in the water from sunrise until late at night. There is also a barbecue area and we had a few dinners and lunches all together around the picnic table. The pool and the gardens were always impeccably maintained.
Sonja, our hostess, was very helpful and knows the area very well. She can answer any questions you might have and advise on where to go and which traps to avoid.
The beach is a short walk through the jungle and is one of the most beautiful beaches around. During our stay, it was quite rough and only the stronger swimmers dared to enter the water.
There is a lot to see and do in the area and we visited all the local beaches and towns. Santa Teresa is about 40 minutes away via a dusty road and there are incredible beaches and great restaurants. We spent a few afternoons there then stayed for dinner. Montezuma is about 30 minutes away and also has a few restaurants and shops. Worth a visit but we much preferred the scene in Santa Teresa.
We made two trips to Curu National Park and spent one day on Tortuga Island. Highly recommended, just watch out for the overly friendly monkeys.
In summary, we had a great time at this property and although it is a little far from the hotspots in Santa Teresa, it is very good value and the perfect location to spend quality time with friends and family."
