  • Trust me, you want to stay here!

"I would not hesitate to recommend this house to anyone. My boyfriend and I spent one week here in February, we felt quite lucky to have such a large place to ourselves as it does sleep 8 very comfortably. Each room is its own contained unit making it great for 3-4 couples travelling together. We chose to fly with Air Sansa from San Jose to Tambor where we met our taxi to Santa Teresa. This leg of trip in its self is an adventure. Our ATV's for the week were dropped off at the house upon our arrival and were picked up the day we left - our taxis, activities, dinner reservations & ATV's were all set up by the house manager who did a great job communicating with us and ensuring we were using the best companies. The sunsets and view alone from the pool were worth every penny. The road to the house is quite steep as mentioned and we were happy to have ATV's rather than a rental car. We'd recommend: - Tortuga island with Zumatours, we saw pilot whales, dolphins, blowfish and Macaws. - The spa at Florblanca as well as the restaurant - we had lunch and dinner on the beach there *you can use there pool and beautiful beach area with bar service. - ATV from house to Montezuma, don't miss the big Strangler Fir, monkeys or splashing through the rivers. - Kojis has a nice dinner atmosphere and their sushi isn't too bad either, make a reservation. ***Lots of places are cash only and except US and Colones. The rooms are simple and exactly what you need. Comfortable, clean queen beds. The caretakers are excellent and skim the pool each day as well as general tidy the house and garbages. Our laundry was even hanging out to dry when we got home most days. The kitchen, dining and living area is a great space too. Honey and Camilla are two canine frequent visitors, we loved having them stop by along with some horses, a bull frog, humming birds - lots of birds and lizards. I'm sure anyone would love their time at this property. It's private yet close to everything you need."

  • So perfect!!

"We are here right now, staying in Villa Mot Mot. It is heaven. The property is beautiful. The staff is super friendly. Our concierge Al, has been so helpful. Always there to give us a dinner recommendations, a ride to the supermarket, or just there to ensure our excursions are on track. The pools, beach and restaurants have been great for us. 3 kids ages 6,8,10...love it here. Monkeys on our deck and by the pools and beach. We did the Quepos canyoning tour, surf lessons and are going white water rafting tomorrow. Loving Costa Rica!! Mot Mot is perfect for us."

  • We highly recommend Casa Dos Rios!

"We just returned from our vacation stay at Casa Dos Rios. What a wonderful place to stay while we explored this beautiful part of Costa Rica! Melanie and Kim have a beautiful home. They were very helpful with all arrangements -- everything from answering our many questions, to having a few things in the refrigerator for us when we arrived, to setting up our car rental and rainforest tour with Brian. We enjoyed our time relaxing at the Casa, seeing monkeys in the yard, hearing the Howler monkeys at night, watching the ocean tides go in and out. We recommend taking a sailboat tour with Kim and Melanie. What a wonderful way to see the Golfo Dulce. We were lucky enough to have a dolphin follow us on our way in. We also recommend the rainforest tour with Brian and visiting some of the really gorgeous nearby beaches, such as Playa Matapalo (the waves can be big though). For dining, so nice to have Martina's just a short walk away. We also enjoyed our dinner at Encanta la Vida. If you wish to see this beautiful part of Costa Rica and see amazing wildlife, we highly recommend you stay at Casa Dos Rios!"

  • Third time is a charm

"My wife and I spent 13 days (12/20/14-1/2/15) at this condo and let me say this condo is better than what is presented on line. This is our third trip to the Jaco vicinity and our first stay at Los Suenos. Let's start off with the con's first. You do not hear the waves at night like you would in Jaco and to us, that is a plus. You are limited to your choice of restaurants on the property and it can be pricey at $100 for two meals per night if you care to go "First Class". The rate of a rental car on this property is twice the price that you will find in Jaco (and you should get one). Golf cart rentals also if rented on the property run at a minimum of $45 a day during our stay. Out side the entrance of Los Suenos is a rental facility and you will find a better rate for a golf cart. Those were our negative findings. Now for the best part and the "Pro's". Dealing with John was a pleasure. He is prompt, courteous and follows up on any request or question ASAP. We had pre-arranged for transportation to and from the airport and it was flawless. The condo check-in/out process I must say that they have it down to a science. We were in and out in 10 minutes at the most. When we arrived there was a gate guard (24 hour) and they were so cordial, after day one they knew who you were though not by first name but by face. When we entered the condo it was like coming home. Clean, well laid out and "free Wi-Fi". The kitchen area is plenty for what you need. If you care to make breakfast, you can with no issue as long as no more than two people partake in the process. The bedroom has blackout curtains so you can sleep in without feeling guilty! The sitting area with the love seat is good as it can get. American television (watched OSU vs. Alabama) for the national championship, just everything you could ask for. Picked up my car the following day for the duration of our stay at Budget in Jaco. For 11 day's the car was $250 (if you reserve well in advance, and you need a car to enjoy yourself). Outside the entrance if you if you turn right and go to the end you will find great beach and food. People watch and enjoy the sunset each night! Take advantage of what the area has to offer, do not be afraid to drive in this country and take advantage of what it has to offer. Do a little research, Google Earth the locations and go. This property cannot be beat for the price, take advantage of it if you can! John, thanks again. Tim and Sharon"
