Unbelievably awesome house in an ideal location!!!
"I cannot say enough positive things about my experience in this house. This was my SECOND time here, and I honestly can't imagine staying anywhere else in Costa Rica. First off, the house is GORGEOUS and it's so nice to have privacy. The pool is amazing and the rooftop deck is so peaceful - you can even see monkeys in the trees behind the property in the early morning or evening! The rooms are spacious, the kitchen is modern and updated, and the place is very well maintained by the staff at Ecovida, who are some of the nicest people you'll encounter. I also love being able to cook my own food at times, and/or just lounge at night and watch a movie on cable.
As far as the location goes, you're 2 blocks from the beach (an easy walk), there's a small grocery store within walking distance, it's a 10 min drive to Esterillos, where you can have drinks on the beach at Hotel Alma. It's a 30 min drive to Jaco, about 45 minutes to Manuel Antonio National Park, which is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world.
You honestly can't ask for more, and the owner of the home - Michael - is so accommodating, friendly, and helpful. I would recommend staying here to anyone who asked me!"

"My family of five and another family of 3 stayed at Flora's house over a school vacation. It was like a fantasy: the house is so beautiful in an unimaginably special and beautiful place. Dominical is totally unspoiled, not touristy, with beautiful places to discover and lovely people to meet. Our children (ages from 7 - 15) all had a blast - we spent the days in town, ziplining, horseback riding to the waterfalls, at the local beaches, swimming at the hidden waterholes, finding amazing restaurants We ended each afternoon in the pool, watching the spectacular sunsets, and enjoying having a chef come to cook for us. (Best salsa and guacamole ever!) Flora was lovely and so helpful, Kelley, the concierge was great, the chefs were fantastic. All in all it was the perfect vacation -- the perfect combination of adventure, relaxing, exploring. Great family time! We'd love to come back!"

"This home is like a piece of paradise. The morning wake up calls from the macaws, aracaris, toucans, was like waking up in a dream. Ron and Vicki provided us with all of the relevant information required to allow our trip run smoothly. Within a short drive of the local grocer, markets, and some great dining. We ate well, travelled well, and stayed in a luxury home. So much to see in this beautiful country. We cannot wait to go back! Thanks to Ron and Vicki for opening your home to our family so we could have a trip of a lifetime."

"This is a villa in a private condo, with its own golf course and private access to the beach. The villa itself was comfortable for the stay there. It might be small for four people spending too much time in there, particularly because it does not have a pool of its own. There is a pool at about 200mts away. The complex has a small market with the basic stuff (a little overpriced), and if you have a car, you can drive 15-20 mins to a town center to go into bigger grocery stores and other services. There is a restaurant with reasonable prices. The golf course can be used, but I did not see nor ask for car rentals. The beach is around 400mts away from the villa, and the beach is stunning. The beach is clean, no stones in the sand and the see is usually calm and no dangerous currents because of being in a closed bay. There are wildlife to entertain the view as well: red macaws, monkeys, iguanas, urracas, sea gulls and other birds. Brink bug repellent if you plan on going out to the green areas. The villa has the basic stuff to cook and enough utensils for four people. Bring your own toiletries (shampoo and soap), towels are included."
