  • Great house and location along the Pacific

"After spending two weeks in this lovely home in a charming neighborhood in a great location we couldn't agree more with all that was said in previous reviews. AND watching sunsets over the Pacific a real plus. Very friendly neighbors, guards and locals. Only drawback for us was that during most of our stay the heat and humidity made for three shower days. Aside from that our stay was a very enjoyable experience."

  • Fabulous Villa Titi

"Just finished up a month at Villa Titi where we rented both floors. From beginning to end it was the perfect trip. John was very easy to deal with and answered all inquiries promptly. When we arrived the check-in went smoothly and the place was even nicer than we expected. It's extremely clean and very well maintained which is quite the challenge in the tropics. The cleaning lady came every other day which was another great perk. If you rent both floors it's ideal for two couples that want to holiday together yet still have privacy with their own bedroom, bathroom and terrace. From the terrace, we saw three types of monkeys, iguanas, morpho butterflies, agoutis and a variety of interesting birds. The units are very well laid out and each comes with a TV. The Wi-Fi worked reliably and we used it for internet phone calls. Although each floor has its own air conditioner, we opted to open the windows and enjoy the breezes. If we wanted cold we could have stayed in Canada!! Rosa is the manager of the unit and was a delight in every way. If you need anything from side trips, restaurant recommendations or transportation to the airport she'll arrange things and you'll not have to worry. The location of the villa is perfect for getting to the beach, restaurants, ATMs and mini-supermarket. The beach is spectacular and you have the option of renting chairs or walking down the beach to find your own piece of paradise in the sun or shade. It's worth taking a day and going to the Manual Antonio National Park. If you like a quieter beach with very small waves I would recommend Biesanz beach. The grounds of the property are beautiful and include three pools. If you're looking for local grocery stores and restaurants head to Quepos. The bus stop is right in front of the complex and costs about sixty cents for a one-way trip. The typical dinner of Costa Ricans is the "casado", which contains either fish, chicken or beef with rice, beans, vegetables and salad. At Soda Sanchez that will cost you about $5.00. For a real local experience, head to Club Banana where Friday night dinner and Karaoke with a bunch of locals is quite fun. Each unit has its own safe which was another plus. There is a new marina with a couple of restaurants which is worth a visit. Also, if you are around on Friday night or Saturday morning, head to the market on the waterfront in Quepos. You can buy lots of fresh produce, cheese and bakery items. The Mennonites make an amazin"

  • Week stay on amazing property

"Our stay at Casa de Suenos was a great experience. We drove from the the airport and stayed near Jaco for a week. We then drove south for about an hour and easily found Dominical and met up with the property manager who took us to the house. We were very happy to see that the house had such an incredible view and was also very private. We spent a lot of time on the large porch enjoying the sunsets and lighting shows. We came during the rainy season so some nights had some Tstorms but overall it was pretty dry all day. The house was only a few minutes drive to town and any number of beach access points. We felt like we had our own private piece of paradise as there wasn't anyone else around to make noise. Some of the places to stay in town were very close to other hotels/hostels/homes and seemed more noisy. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to explore some of Costa Rica's best sites."

  • Paradise

"Dear Michael and Elizabth, Thank You for a really great trip. You have truly created a special place. I will never forget the trip into the bay or the quad tour and your warm hospitality made us feel as though we had come home. For anyone wanting to stay in this region, Paraise de Miguel is top notch. The house is comfortable and functional with a fantastic view and surrounded by nature. I will certainly return as soon as possible. Two weeks was just not enough. Gracias y Pura Vida."
