"We really enjoyed this complex and found it to be about 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of something on the main street in Jaco, which is an incredible bargain, and something we wanted to avoid anyway, traveling with an 8 year old. Everything was in excellent working order and the beds and A/C were wonderful. It was amazing just to leave the slider door open and feel as if you were outdoors all the time. It is steps from the pool, but upstairs so there is still tons of privacy. The gate was always promptly opened for our car coming in and out multiple times a day and the kitchen is well stocked.
If you are in need of full-home air conditioning, this may not be the place to select as the A/C is only in the bedrooms. It got hot in the afternoons, so if we were home, we were either in the pool or taking naps in the bedrooms with the A/C on. For the price, however, we felt it was worthwhile and we wanted the feeling of doors open and being outdoors having just spent the last 8 months shut inside during a cold Chicago winter.
We loved this place and appreciated the extra pillows, safes in both bedrooms and the location to the pool. Wonderful stay!"

"This is not your typical VRBO, in the sense that it comes with property managers who are very attentive to your needs at the house, and also are more than willing to act as your visitor's bureau, assisting you with any questions, reservations or recommendations on all things to do in the area. The house also has an onsite maintenance man and maid service. Everyone involved with this property is ultra-friendly and are very invested in the quality of your stay.
This house is all-encompasing to the Santa Teresa experience because some of the best stretch of beach is a 3 minute walk from the front door. It is close and easily accessible to shops and restaurants, so driving is not always necessary. There is no need to go to the wildlife preserve, because they come to you, howler monkeys, parakeets, iguanas (my daughter named them), assorted birds, crabs, etc. It should be noted this house is right next to the main drag, and most of the locals get around on motorcycles and ATVs. Despite it's location to the road, it still feels exclusive when you are onsite, although, you do get the noise from the road. However, that is ubiquitous to the Santa Teresa experience. The open floorpan to this house makes it great place to chill. One afternoon we decided not to go back to the beach, and the house was perfect for just hanging-out by the pool, and laying in the hammocks. The house is also very safe and secure. We slept every night with the doors wide open, and just listened to sounds of the rainforest. If you are planning a trip to Santa Teresa, I highly recommend this house."

Great place for a relaxing retreat. Stunningly beautiful!
"Casa Yin Yang was our home for a week. Everything about this home is perfect. Rather than the very nice home next door which was designed like any nice home in our home town of Orange County, CA, Casa YIn Yang is uniquely Costa Rican in it's style. Open areas everywhere. Elegant indoor/ outdoor master bath, yoga platform near the sea (perfect for massage), extensive use of exotic wood throughout. My twenty something kids had a great time surfing on the beach in front of the house. We loved this home!"

"My wife and I stayed at Toucan Tango for two weeks in late December 2014. We had a better than excellent time, due in no small part to the total environment of Toucan Tango. The attributes are evident from the photos: exquisite view over the rainforest canopy to the ocean, fantastic pool, a lovely home that is fully appointed and furnished. The details: if the elements of nature are not your thing.....then Toucan Tango is not for you. The howler monkeys, giant toads, and plethora of tropical birds are a symphonic backdrop for the entire evening and nighttime. Poolside kitchen is great. Even though there are a number of remarkable restaurants about 10 minutes away in Ojochal, we chose to spend most evenings cooking and dining on the patio. While I would characterize ourselves as adventurers, many days we never even got in our car, opting instead to hang out on the poolside patio and walking in the jungle surrounding the home. The patio is totally private. We were gracioiusly greeted by a neighborhood friend of the owners, who provided us with a thorough orientation. A very useful notebook for the house and region is provided by the owners. Their restaurant recommendations are spot on. The road accessing the house is a fairly rough gravel track which is steep in spots. Accordingly, the owners recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle. Our experience was that even when we forgot to switch our car into 4 wheel drive mode, there was no problem navigating the track. The house is very spacious. Kitchen is well appointed, and we love to cook. This place reflects great attention to aesthetic details. Great art throughout. Excellent ventilation. The BR's are all air conditioned, but we never once turned any of them on, preferring the gentle breeze provided by nature and about a dozen ceiling fans........even on the patio. The pool is one of the nicest I've experienced at a vrbo rental. Obviously, we are considering a return trip"
