  • A Good Stay

"We recently spent two weeks here. The first week with my sister, the second with my husband. Everyone has their own expectations and this was apparent to me being the one who was there for the full two weeks. We all can agree that the setting is amazing, watching the weather coming and going all day and night. Was this place too far out there for my sister...no. We still went to Dominical and elsewhere to explore the sights nearby and had some great dining experiences. We even did an ATV tour with Karl that we enjoyed immensely. For my husband and me, we were just where we wanted to be. The local community is awesome and you can find all you need "in town" or a short drive away on fairly decent local roads that connect to a good paved road that takes you to Dominical or San Isidro."

  • Wonderful Condo and Amazing Owner

"We had been working with Ruth for two years to plan our stay at Tres Regalos (we had to keep changing the date for various reasons). She was so easy to work with, and so patient with us. She answered every question quickly, and gave valuable advice prior to us traveling to Costa Rica for the first time. We were so happy with the condo when we arrived. It was perfect for our group (3 couples). Everyone had their own space...and the porch was our favorite place to eat, take naps, and relax at night. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed. The staff at Tres Regalos were so friendly and helpful. And the view....breathtaking!! We watched the sunset from the porch, and felt as though we were in our own private oasis! The casino next door had its grand opening while we were there, so we all went over for the big event! It is nice for guests to now have two restaurants, a bar, and a casino right next door! And after the grand opening, there was no more noise from construction or from hotel guests (which we though might happen, but everyone is inside at night, so you don't hear any noise). Jaco is a great town, and offers so many wonderful restaurants. We did not have a bad meal the entire week! The beach was beautiful and peaceful, since there is hardly anyone there! And if you need to rent beach chairs or an umbrella, you can (for very cheap) a little down the beach from the condo. The pool was also the perfect place to relax! We would definitely come back and stay at the condo, and next time, bring our kids so they can experience all that Costa Rica has to offer!"

  • Pavones delight

"The stay at this site was too short. We were trying to be ambitious and stay on both sides of the Golfo Dulce in a 6 day period. We had such a fun time at this property surf, swim, and golf (yes golf). It was a lovely house enjoyed old movies that were there with the kids and felt pampered. Next time we bring more friends and family and have a family fiesta. You won't need but light clothing, packing light is recommended. We drove from San Jose you might consider flight to Quepos and renting car from Vamos. But we were glad to stop for groceries in Jaco for gourmet items ( Tofu, almond milk, granola, peanut butter, jelly etc) and Rio Claro for staples.) Groceries are high in Pavones. Make sure you turn on road before Surf restaurant, we missed it first time. Judi the owner is great and supportive by phone in those moments. Arrive before dark reduces anxiety for cars occupants. But when you wake up in am you will be amazed at properties location and amenities, like your own private Hotel."

  • Paradise in the sky!

"We spent 3 days in Monterverde and stayed at Casa Cielo with our 3 kids. What an awesome cabin! The kids called it the "triangle house". The cabin is fully equipped, very confortable and a VIP spot for the most stunning sunsets! Special thanks to Veronica for that most delicious snack upon our arrival! So appreciated! Don't miss that horseback riding activity with a dip in private hot pools at Finca Lindora 2 minutes from the cabin. We will keep such great memories of our trip in Monteverde and casa cielo."
