  • A Good Stay

"We recently spent two weeks here. The first week with my sister, the second with my husband. Everyone has their own expectations and this was apparent to me being the one who was there for the full two weeks. We all can agree that the setting is amazing, watching the weather coming and going all day and night. Was this place too far out there for my sister...no. We still went to Dominical and elsewhere to explore the sights nearby and had some great dining experiences. We even did an ATV tour with Karl that we enjoyed immensely. For my husband and me, we were just where we wanted to be. The local community is awesome and you can find all you need "in town" or a short drive away on fairly decent local roads that connect to a good paved road that takes you to Dominical or San Isidro."

  • Paradise Found

"We stayed at Casa Teka for 5 days and we had a truly amazing experience. This beautiful home is close enough to town, but far away from the traffic. The only sounds you can hear is the ocean waves crashing on a tranquil beach only steps away and the monkeys and exotic birds playing in the mango trees throughout the lush green garden setting surrounding the property. The large open outdoor deck lets you be one with nature as you sit within the tree canopy. The local market one block away has all the food essentials and supplies that you would need and Mary's restaurant (walking distance) is a great place to treat yourself to dinner. I would recommend Casa Teka for a family vacation, romantic getaway, surf/fishing trip, or anyone who wants to have an authentic Costa Rican experience. The manager Pia took great care of us and we are already looking forward to our next visit. Pura vida."

  • Girls Trip

"This condo was definitely the cherry on top. Condo was everything that was described above. The ocean was extremely rough (police told us ocean was off limits) that week so being able to walk 5 steps from our front porch to the pool was ideal. The condo complex was close to town but far enough to keep the noise and craziness away. Clarita's bar which is next door was great. Quick and easy snacks, food and drinks - most of the time we didn't even wear shoes over (Thursday nights involve a lot of salsa dancing!). Being ladies in our mid 20's we felt very safe at night walking to and from town. Jaco is definitely a fun and cool place to be. This was my second trip to Jaco and I hope to make it back again one day. Gary was great and provided help when needed. One recommendation for future visitors - book the Waterfall tour and ask for Wilson as your tour guide. It was by far our favorite day on our week long trip to Costa Rica. I highly recommend this condo and complex (security guards were very friendly as well) Pura Vida!"

  • Great Value

"This house was great for our needs. We had a one year old and a two year old and the house was great for us. We didn't utilize the lower portion of the house. If you do plan on using it, take note that it is completely separate from the top portion with its own entrance from outside. The view is unbeatable. Walking to the beach is possible, but it is a steep incline the whole way."
