  • Wonderful Costa Rica Adventure

"My wife and I spent a week at this beautiful villa with another couple to experience a less touristy area of Costa Rica. The house is great and everyone associated with it were very friendly and helpful. Bill turned us on to a couple of sights that we never would have known existed without him. While staying there we hiked, ziplined in Montezuma, Snorkeled at Tortuga Island, spent a day on the beach watching surfers and working on our tans. We saw monkeys every day either at the house or while we were out. we saw dolphins, turtles, anteaters, iguanas and more varieties of birds than I can name. If you ask if we enjoyed it......I have 6132 pictures that say yes we did."

  • Great view! Great location!

"We had a great stay at Olas Hermosa. The view is fabulous and the location is central to quite a few restaurants and sights. We had a car but ended up walking to Dominical, the peninsula and the waterfall as well as walking many many times on the beach. Dave helped us get a fishing trip set up for a low rate with some other folks and helped us find lots of fun stuff to do! Manuel Antonio and Quepos, San Isidro are all very close if you have a car. A GPS is a must in Costa Rica but the driving is easy and the studio has covered parking in a gated area so no worries! The studio had a great kitchen and was very comfortable and roomy. All the comforts of home that you need, and Dave downstairs if you need something else! We had fun chatting with him and getting to know his area! We will definitely come back next year!"

  • Fantastic for groups

"We recently came to pura vida casa for a company work away with 19 people and had an amazing stay. Chloe and Dan we're incredible hosts, Organizing all forms of logistics including chef prepared meals for the team, activities like zip lining and surfing, transportation everywhere, any frankly anything else we asked for all with a smile. This was critical for a group of our size and made the trip run smoothly. The houses are beautiful and meticulously cared for. They easily accommodated our group and frankly the master suite was so nice that I felt a little sheepish taking it. The Internet, while not fast by any means worked which was huge for us. The beach is literally 3-5 min car ride away and it's great for lounging and surfing. Would we come back again? Yes in a heart beat. Great homes and great hosts."

  • Lives up to it's name!!

"We just spent 3 nights while exploring the Uvita area. Dale and Sean were very friendly and welcoming. It's definitely very relaxing - I swam in the pool just about everyday and enjoyed the spectacular view everyday over breakfast. Everything was as described - our room was very comfortable. We used the kitchen to make dinner a couple of nights and had great conversations with our hosts. Dale set us up with a zip lining tour which was fabulous and was so knowledgeable about everything the area had to offer which is a huge benefit. Loved our stay and enjoyed the company :-)"
